Way to put up an in depth analysis Philbo! I do have 2 suggestions to 2 more VODs like this one. Go through each Rifts boss fights mechanics, so the weak ones can have higher chances of surviving them. The other one could be about authorities. Like where to find them, authority bosses mechanics, expected rewards and such.

Damm brother i was about to give up this game level 66 till i found this i already had a 6 link lightning chain, with charge release and i came across this you made my build go from 40kdamage to 68k damage and i never had so much fun thank you!

Been looking for a good Lightning Chain guide, this is perfect, thanks!
One question - is there any good 2H staff base worth using for a build like this? Feels like staves are useless but I hate the look of dual wands/scepters.
lmao- dude i feel the same way. i tried really hard to make the staff work but they just don't seem to do quite as much damage. for tier 27 staves there is the dream state staff which has 1.1 base speed and does up to 250-300. it could potentially do similar output but wouldn't bank on it.

no you cant - can only use 1 enhance defense skill at a time. ive since switched to siphon life and think it's far superior.
wat can i substitute for the persistence and lightning pen.?
Hello Philbo, very good video, I congratulate you for all the explanation , I am testing your build at level 69 and I find it super effective to clear waves of mobs like a knife in butter , but I have a BIG problem and it is that with the bosses I feel that it hits very little , with elites it takes me some time to eliminate them and with bosses I always die when I have lowered them between 1/4 and half health I have not been able to kill any, could you tell me what could change in the zodiac, what links to use for have higher damage against bosses or what can I do to fix this? since I love wave cleaning but with bosses it's the opposite (cant kill any boss in act 10) 😫
idk - i think youd prob start seeing the same issue w/ other builds as well. just keep adding more damage (upgrading runes, leveling up, gearing up, etc) and make sure you get extra range. you should have no issues w/ bosses once you upgrade a bit.

Im using Charge release as main linked to > lightning chain.. but im low lvl 40+ so far it works cool, wonder witch combination is better :D
Personally I like how chain lightning immediately hits opponents - charge release seems to take too long w/ it's projectile speed and sometimes misses targets. Also, as rune rarity increases on chain lightning you will get a strike amplification for shocked opponents (30% @ legendary).
What whould u recommend for Strength points? In the video u point that out u wouldnt spend Strenght that high so what it should suppose to be?
I have to spend strength that high to use Shout of Provocation. However, I'm considering rolling in w/ a lower level shout so that i don't have to use as much strength. I would put the rest of the points in int in order to get more barrier.

Projectile Acceleration is not linking with Electromagnetic Field. Any reason why?
Using charge release not electomagnetic field. They do look similar :).

How many hours a day you playing this game? Why this game not give drop chance (not a drop rarity) unless you making a potion of drop chance??
quite a few hours day xD. embarrassed to say. there is item drop rarity % on gear.
@@philbo9k yes, i know if there is item drop rarity u can get in items but drop chance is quite Hard to get, i found a formula to make it but very Hard to get materials
Using chain lightning also but crit build. Running at 51% crit rate first CL hit goes 500-600k damage 2nd hit after the dmg upon spell and shock goes 800-900k. The only problem I have with this build is when running Rifts. Having only mid range in rift can be quite pain specially in rift level 11+
Nice crits! What weapon setup are you using? Grab the area of effect traits to get more range. Will increase your survivability a good bit.
Projection wand since it has good speed and crit base. Yeah now gonna reset my zodiac again for area of effect. Burned 4m gold in an instant now I'm broke af
Is it true that area of effect is increasing cast distance?

@@philbo9k I have projectile +2 from zodiac tree to free up a link rune… I love quick cast as well…. one of my link rune that gives me huge dmg… mana is my big challenge now… I am lvl 75 and hopeful I can get enough zodiac points to increase and work on my mana traits
