Great list and great video. Ironically, adult swim is my childhood and this list reminded me of a few shows that I forgot about but loved back when I watched them as a kid so I thank you for making this list. I would like to mention that you forgot The Oblongs. Personally I would put that show somewhere between solid and certified banger based on my memories of it.
The amount of times I was up way later than I should have been as a kid and randomly watched like 3 episodes of The Oblongs before I passed out 1🤣. Definitely a great show but I think it actually started on a different network, so I left it off this list.

Hahaha if my ranking was based on theme song alone it would be an east GOAT tier. I think my biggest issue with Super Jail is that it felt like a not as good Metalocalypse. Obviously there's big differences between the shows, but they were both hyper focused on comedically brutal violence for a large part of the comedy and it just felt like Metalocalypse did it better
Everyone with Jon Benjamin is a banger and so is Xavier. I wish they made more DVD or Blu-ray releases.

Out of your damn mind putting Rick and Morty in GOAT. It had 2 10/10 seasons, season 3 was ok, then completely dropped off after. Popularity vastly outweighed the quality of the product imo, but good list overall. I’d still put Mr. Pickles beneath Assy McGee tho
Rick and Morty is one of the rare cases of something being extremely overrated yet still really good. It's sort of like the Michael Jordan of animation lol. I agree that most of its greatness is carried by 2 or 3 amazing seasons, but how many shows on this list can say they even have 2 or 3 amazing seasons? Its definitely my least favorite show in the GOAT tier, but I think it still deserves to be there.

@@chillreview636 I really wish you said more about World Peace. Its a really amazing, innovative show, its a shame people just see it as the Sam Hyde show when there was so much talent behind it. The absurdism blending into horror was 100% Andrew Ruse, hes the visual direction behind the show. The sketches are packed full of symbolism ranging from obvious to extremely hard to discern. I'd recommend the cop killer sketch if you wanna go straight to the deep end.
@@chillreview636Rick and Morty is terrible though, the first 2 seasons were okay and then it devolved as soon as its cultural relevance outsized the show. Seasons 3 and 4 were Dan Harmon's personal diary pretty much, and after that it became the identity of the show. I tried watching the heist episode from season 3 with my friends and we quit it to watch something else. I think we actually ended up watching smiling friends 😭

Obviously I'm a fan of stupid comedy based in how I ranked a lot of the shows, but something about assy McGee felt too stupid lol
@@chillreview636 as gratuitous as it was it definitely wasn't ahead of its time or anything but it had its time in the spotlight and did what it could with it but ultimately not something that would last long on the network anyway.
It's was kinda of funny at the time. I wouldn't say it's bad or the worst. The joke does get over used and there has been bits on the same thing but this does it decent. Not a banger but I would show it to my nephew.

The thing about Decker and On Cinema is that they’re part of this massive long form comedy project Tim has been making for around a decade. It feels weird to rate them without knowing the full context as they are parts of a sprawling ambitious puzzle. But Decker is pretty mid on its own…
I know I left out a few of the Tim and Eric shows, but from my outside perspective of someone who wasn't a huge fan, they all just sort of melded together for me as the same overall thing

Hate to disappoint you, but Beavis and Butt-head would have to go on the "not familiar with your game" tier. Couldn't tell you why, but the show was never really on my radar back in the day. It's definitely an old classic I have to give a watch someday though

You should do comedy central animation ranking: drawn together, south park, shorties watching shorties, etc. I feel like as a kid you had your adult swim shows and your comedy central shows that you watched when adult swim was showing a show u didnt like.

If there's one thing I've learned about Adult swim over the years it's to never expect a show to last 😭😭
49 minutes to see how we rate the venture brothers. and my brother in Christ, I thank you for preaching the gospel that is the Venture brothers. it IS the single most influential cartoon in terms of what mainstream comedy and entertainment is "i.e. marvel, referential nerd stuff, 2 guys just batshitting back and forth, serialization, lore" and it gets none of the recognition. Everything that gets made by that conglomerate since its gets canceled, whether good enough on its own merits (Harley Quinn) or just awful (Velma) is just a worse venture brothers. They killed venture brothers to help make shows that are worse, more commercial versions of what they already had. I really hope we at least get a graphic novel or something to keep the stories going. Boondocks and venture are easily the best shows ever made on that network, and venture could have gone on forever, with a new season every 3-5 years.
Love to see there are people out there who love VB as much as I do ✊🏾✊🏾. It feels so weird now that we won't have a new season of Venture Bros to look forward to every 3-5 years, but that finale only cemented its legacy as one of the greatest shows of all time
Even way back we were having thoughts like, "Wait, is Kim Possible just Venture Brothers for kids?"

Idk if I could give you a full list, but I do know that Family Guy's going at the very top of that shit.
The only syndication That I love is family guy, king of the hill, Bob's burgers and futurama.

I have never gotten the comedy of Tim and Eric and honestly when those two are on screen I just despise them which I don't like because I don't like despising people I literally don't know lol. For some reason though those two type of hatred in me I didn't know I had which I have to give them credit for in some way that's pretty artistic and in a really weird messed up way. Anyway I don't like them lol
Hahahah I definitely had similar feelings toward them when I was younger, but the older I got, the more I came to appreciate just how weird and groundbreaking their comedy was. I still don't think they're that funny as actors, but they gave a platform to a lot of really funny people I do like, so I can't stay mad at em
