There are two different causes so to narrow down you may perform a scan or one of the following is the root cause 1. Fuel relief valve (limiter valve) that is located on the fuel rail 2. Lack of syncing with turbo actuator, throttle & EGR. So just give a good cleanup on to the throttle body, EGR and intercooler
My Nissan Navara has an overheating issue... First it started to loose power or booste from the exhaust .. and i thought it was a turbo issue.. then the exhaust into the intercooler was leaking a lot of oil .. then it started over heating... currwntly i have no drive boost when i go up gear to 4th and 5th.. and when i go up gear.. the water boils out of the reservoiir tank. I hope you can point me to the right direction
First of all can you check all following 1. Whether the radiator and resiover tank using the correct cap? 02. The radiator fan clutch has enough of gell inside? 03 Enough of fresh air comes toward the engine (check whether the radiator block, intercooler block,, AC condenser block
My turbo boost solenoid failed to pump. O change it with new one wondering that the real trouble is the turbo solenoid still the same it does not move up and down the turbo kit is good i cleaned it already. Black smoke on my pipe
If the engine stops and start issue resolved? If then, replace fuel relief valve or it call limiter valve that fix on the common rail (towards the engine side)
That means your oil level sensor is not working. 1. First remove the sensor. Clean and reinstall 2. If the issue is persistent, then replace If the indicator flashes off after a couple of seconds then no worries. But if the indicator is still and steady, then do not start the vehicle. That means. oil pressure is not there. Either due to the pressure sensor being faulty or the oil pump is seized
Well, unless you can repair or replace it with the same YD25 engine, next powerful is to try with Nissan Patrol Y61 engine (i haven’t tried and I’m planning on mine too) but unless you replace with the same family of YD25 you may require to replace with while systems compatible components such as ECU, TCM along with gearbox, you may need to replace the wire harness as well…
It's better to use coolant rather than water coz the coolant contains anti corrode chemicals that help to keep the water circulation components safe from corrosion | that includes the water pump | and all water jackets inside and outside of the engine block | thermostat valve and in return a better internal cooling system..
Hello there Thank you for yourinterest . Please take off the limiter valve or be called the relieve valve, which has been fixed on the engine bay side of the common rail. I've bit explained this in below link ‘the video ruclips.net/video/Fxy3pCVEvMI/видео.html
Hi. Thank you for this video. I have a failed boost control solenoid. Is it safe to run the vacuum line directly to the turbo actuator until I get it replaced or will that affect the engine? Thanks
Your most welcome dear… By passing vacuum line will have an impact to the turbocharger so until you get a replacement try to control the speed at low rpm
Hi , my mechanic said you must sanding your engine head , engine block , and pistons , if you want garantie that your nissan will not warm temperature again . Is this correct?
Love the video, Thanks. I'd like to get your advice, my Navara D40 (Manual) has been idle for few weeks now. The issue started a week after I changed the fuel filters, what do you suggest I do?
Well, what’s the fuel filter you replaced with ? Is that a genuine or a third party filter ? Nevertheless - please following 1. Perform a system scan to trigger any DTC 2. Check whether all in and out fuel hose are tightened enough after replacing the filter (there might be air bubble in the fuel line) It may also can case one of the following 01. Clogged of suction control valve 02. Faulty limiter valve fixed on the common rail 3. A bad or clogged injectors that has lost of flow rate and or increase back leak
@@abcautotrendy Thank you, should get a new sensor today. And yes, we did change the clutch and pressure plate a few weeks ago in which part of the broken crank sensor fell out but wasn't quite sure what it really was. Did further reading online and found its one of the camshaft or crank sensor and had it checked. A sweet feeling identifying the problem. Thank you to you too. I'll keep in touch as most mechanics here have trouble trying to fix Navara D40s.
Hi mate, update on the Navara D40. Got the crank sensor changed but still the vehicle is idle. Though there is a sense of little more power than before.
Please give me a call in the morning - I will help you with that as I've replied to almost all posts on FB (0777329922) Also, a possible cause for that would be, the air intake has a wrong or miscalculation air ratio so better to clean up the air mass sensor You also need to perform a scan on safe mode If worst case bring the vehicles over so we will fix it once and forever
DTC No. P1274 and 1275 have the same problem with that so it would be a 01. Fuel pressure is too much higher than the target value. So, please check following 01. Harness or connectors (it maybe oxide) and if not 100% it's a **Fuel rail pressure sensor** so have it replaced
@@abcautotrendy I' got someone to clean it out and it wasn't as bad as the one on this vid but light still comes on from time to time with same code any ideas?
Yes that’s right, normally the electronic failure gives the DTC, so better remove it a do a full cleanup, the EGR has a butterfly and you would see a tiny needle hole once you fully cleanup… also clean up the electrical socket with electrical cleaning chemicals

Hi dear,
May I know what’s the engine of your Nav? Euro 3 or euro4 ?
I changed head casket and set timing, when I try to start the engine can not start.cranh but can not start.
Have you primed the diesel well?
@@abcautotrendy yes I prime the diesel and crank the engine but still can not start.

It's if i use water only on my radiator??
Not really
@@abcautotrendy so need to put coolant right? I worry i top up around 1.5 liters of Water only
It's better to use coolant rather than water coz the coolant contains anti corrode chemicals that help to keep the water circulation components safe from corrosion | that includes the water pump | and all water jackets inside and outside of the engine block | thermostat valve and in return a better internal cooling system..
So replace timing chain every 100k? in australia its a $4k job = $1k every 25,000 km
Well, that's the recommendation but that can be prevented by taking care of the engine like using the right lubricant. Mandatory service onetime etc
I have a code p0093 suggesting big fuel leak ... Google interpretation points to suction control valve ... is that the only possible cause ?
