Great video man. Nice job editing. And getting all those angles. Good fish handling, very informative. You my friend, are gonna go places in the fishing world. Good luck with your channel and good luck on the water bro
This is one of my "local" lakes and I've been trying to catch one from my kayak. And it's not one of those big fancy standup units with a pedal drive. This is a basic sporting goods store kayak. It's been a challenge...
@arrondentinger2086 I bet! You should check out absolute unit media...he's my buddy and does some Musky fishing from a kayak...always entertaining watching him get towed around!
Nice fish! It looks a little different but I’m pretty sure that used to be my home lake. Haven’t been there in many years. I learned how to fish muskies on that lake and got my PB 50 1/2 out of there. Never did well in the spring though. Nice work!
Nice fish Sam.. I haven't got to fish Inna while since I went bck to work inn the coal mines.. But I'm on vacation all next week headed to Clearwater maybe catch a barracuda.
I use 80 lbs. Suffix but if you have never caught one before and are looking to get into it then watch my video on how to catch a Musky. Just recently posted it
That was the idea. I know those fish see a ton of gliders by the dam and alot of wood crankbaits and bucktails. I figured a suspending flat sided crank bait would give off a bit different action. Hey it worked!
To answer your question unfortunately it is a foul catch and has to not be counted. VERY PROUD OF YOU for your dedication and I will NOT cut down your video. The content, the visuals, and your dedication made that a FUN WATCH either way. I waS SO SO SO sad to see it was on the neck though, as yes, it sucks, it is foul now.
@@sgangling no. Thank you. Honesty is the only quality left that men still have left that is not considered toxic. Lol you could've easily have edited it out. Ya didn't and thats surely worth MORE followers than that fish weight in marketing moneu
@Andrew West Thank you. I won't let it bother me. The fish did exactly what I wanted her to which is swipe at my bait. She missed it and that's out of my control. The best I can do it handle her responsibly and release her to be caught by someone else!
Typically I don't publicly state what bodies of water I fish in case I'm fishing someone's honey hole. But if you look up any Musky waters in Ohio they are all fantastic...one is just as good as the next due to the strong stocking program

Thanks man. I really appreciate it. Good luck on the water!

Congrats dude! That was an awesome fish! Just an absolute sled of a fish!
Thanks Matt 😊
Nice fish! I grew up in the town this lake is outside of. I’ve caught Musky casting up toward the rocks in that same cove!
Awesome! Great lake. I'll be back this upcoming year.
Congrats to the new PB. Well deserved 👍
Thank you!
Congratulations!!! Awesome fish!
Thank you Dean!
My favorite lake to fish as i live only 5 min from it. Also a very good Crappie fishing lake.

Congrats, man! What a toad! Maybe we can put a few of those in the bag on our next outing together!
For sure man. Part 2 of the collab has gotta happen this fall
@@sgangling We need some serious redemption lol! Hopefully more than a bass hits the bag!
Well Done👍🏻
👍👍👍
Holy shit you kept your composure well for that being 48 and a half 😂😂
Thank you 😊
What size fishing line do you use for fish like this. I have never caught on before. Any pointers should be appreciated

Beautiful fish! Probably weighed ~ 30lbs (a few secs after I typed that you said it lol) Congrats man!
Thanks man. Yeah didn't want to weigh or take a girth because time in the net is a big stress factor but probably around 30
Such a healthy release!!!
Thank you! Quick, healthy releases are the most important!
That lake looks allot like West Branch?
Was that westbranch or leesville?
Dm me on Facebook or Instagram
Not Leesville if he has a 40 horse
what lake is this?
Jet fishing welcome to OHIO
🤣...I gotta try that this year
interesting. salt fork has been a skunk fest for me almost every year!
Come upto Maumee and we can catch lots of fish.
What lake are you at?
DM me and I'll let you know
Try lures that they have not seen a thousand time.
