So Caline reached out to me a while back and asked if I'd review their new amplifier the Lorcan. I of course agreed having been really impressed by the pedals they send me earlier this year and so here it is!
I'm not being paid for this review but I do get to keep the Lorcan.
The Lorcan is a compact pedalboard / desktop amplifier that has speakers built in. So basically you can use it to practice by yourself using the onboard speakers (which get just about loud enough to annoy the other people in your home) or you could plug headphones into the headphone jack for silent playing. It also has an aux in so you can play along with any tunes you want to.
All this combined with 3 hours Battery Life and 3 X100ma pedal power jacks out to power other pedals makes it a pretty comprehensive practice tool. You could also quite comfortably use it for busking or church music type scenarios,
All in all a well thought out and unusual piece of gear. Thx for sending it out Caline!!

Just picked up the bass version of this amplifier. Ill be reviewing it in the coming week. It has the CP-45 and CP-60 built in. Two very useful effects.
Hey. Thx for be comment. It’s an interesting concept. I didn’t know there was a bass one. I keep mine for situations where I might want to play at a house party or something like that. It can be useful in unusual ways.

@@TheGuitarEffect yessir, I love the delay and distortion add-ons, plus the fact it has the 3 effects pedal inputs...all on a rechargeable/portable amp...and it sounds decent, too!! The designers of this amp get an A++ in my book!! Have you used it since the vid?
I must admit I havent to be Honest. I play through studio monitors so I don’t really need to. It’s a great little bit of kit though

Thanks for the review. How long does it take to fully charge? How long of a life does it get out of a charge by itself and how much when powering other pedals? I'd appreciate your insight.

It's an interesting product for sure. It definitely made me sit up and pay attention just on how different it looks. It's a product for beginners for sure but it's an interesting one 👍
Yeah it’s a mad looking box alright. It’s be great for busking I reckon.

...Sir,does it NOT-have an fx loop?....Would have-been GREAT for a looper pedal....(...For-that-matter,it SHOULD have a looper in it...)....As you had stated,my Brother, jacks for external speakers would be VERY-NICE also...Much-love & peace from Southern Illinois...
Hey Randy. How’s it going! No. No FX loop. Also, No footswitches for the distortion or delay. Which is interesting. Must be a decision based on the material it’s made from. It does what it does well though.
It has jacks for external speakers,and to go to PA or interface, it actually has a bunch of outputs
Hey Hats and guitars. Just to be clear it doesn’t have a Jack for external speakers. As in you can’t use and unpowered cab with it. It does have a Jack for an external amp however.
