    Also remember, never pre-order your hotel room days ahead because hotel employees connected to organized crime will have time to give you a staged room with cameras mics, bad locks etc. Always pick a random hotel in the area after you arrive there. If the employees gives you any suspicion change hotel immediately.

    • @BoneTactical
      @BoneTactical  8 месяцев назад +3

      Of course this is not always possible and sometimes it’s better to pre-order your hotel for trip planning but it really all depends on who you are and what your risk assessment is for you personally

  • @adamskull6268

    Yes, being aware of your surroundings is very important. When I was younger partying with females we just met. Sometimes we where in a different neighborhood. I would look at my surroundings and looking for many eacape routes. Going to the market, mall or anywhere. Im going looking at the cars next to me, the one car with the lights on, people and not be on my phone while I'm walking. If I make eye contact with another guy and the eye contact goes beyond 3-5 seconds, I give knod assuring him I'm no threat and I keep going. I learned some new security pointers. Thanks!

    you dont need to hair the drawer. Just a tiny dab of super glue holding it shut. When you come back you will feel the resistance of the glue break when you open the drawer. If you dont feel it the drawer was tampered (though the hair may provide a visual).
    Wet carpet and electrocuting people through door handles is another neat one (but not always effective in delivering a charge... although it can be used effectively as an alert trap to short circuit the room/hotel when it trips the safety switch which will wake you up. Using a cut off kettle cord or cut off extension cord. Love the videos. Thanks.

    How do you feel about carrying a baton a lot of times I will carry an asp baton when I travel sometimes I'm unable to carry one so I have a three-piece walking cane that I carry with me I always notify people it is for Mobility reasons. I also have a traumatic brain injury from an attempted assassination so I have a service dog that is 100% trained as a service dog and also a guard dog. I had to stay at a hotel in New York a few weeks ago things are pretty sketchy in Manhattan and I was happy that I had him with me. As you know New York is one of the worst places to carry any type of weapons.

    What worked for me. Take a chair and put the back of the chair under the door handle so it can not be moved at all, jam it tight. This worked for me when I had nothing else to secure my hotel room door. Will it stop a swat team, no. But it stopped a hotel thief. Use zip ties to tie of anything on the door so you don't lose your belt if you have to bail. Rubber wedge under the door also works, or a wooden wedge with a nail hammered through it to dig into the ground. Also pole from the closet can be used, to either jam the door handle if you dont have a chair, or if its a tight space to actually brace the door to the opposite wall, that way no one is getting in. In tight space always brace the door to the opposite wall so anyone trying to push or kick in the door is actually fighting the opposite wall. Always sleep with the window open if you think you'll have to bail and sleep with full kit. Tie everything to yourself, so you can't lose it. Make sure you have no straps, belts, lose fitting clothes or shoelaces, that can snag on something (if you have to go out the window). Duct tape the shoelaces to your shoe (around the back of the heel) so they can't get undone. Stay safe.

    • @BoneTactical

      Works well in movies but one kick from me and you’re regretting your chair hack! Do more shooting videos... how would you handle being surrounded by a larger force in a residence. For example you're by yourself and 3-5 armed guys surrounded your residence for whatever reason either to burglarize or kill you.

    • @BoneTactical
      @BoneTactical  4 года назад

      NYPrepper If it was only 3 to 5 guys with guns I wouldn’t necessarily need a firearm, if it was more than five then I probably would use one depending on how I’m feeling that day. But what I would do in a situation has very little to do with what my viewers would do. I make videos for you guys showing things that you can do that don’t require years of training and experience

      @@BoneTactical I guess what I'm getting at is for the common citizen in a SHTF situation has their home surrounded by a group of armed raiders/marauders. Curious what your thoughts would be on how to handle that... retreat and live to fight another day? Surrender? Or dig in and fight? My idea would be to evacuate if I know they're coming let them occupy the house then use sniper fire directed at the house to get them out.

    • @BoneTactical

      NYPrepper That’s obviously a situation that requires training and experience not something you can teach through a RUclips video to the common citizen. It’s also a very specific situation that a common citizen would not experience unless the Raiders/marauders were perhaps the local swat team.

    Stop... stop... stop! Wait a minute. "Physical fit" ... "strong" ... endurance... etc. Hey, that's fine for a younger, healthy person.... But, unfortunately for me, and I hate to say it, but I'm gettin' up there in age. There is no reversing time for me. For me, if we're talking "physical" (as opposed to pulling a trigger), if I don't defeat a physical threat in the first 1.38 seconds... They won't have to worry about defeating me because I'll be so out of breath or in heart-attackville, that it won't matter. Do a video on this.... "How to defeat a threat (physically), even if you are completely out of shape (or old)." Sounds like a good challenge for ya. Can you handle it? Thanks. ;)
