    My love for sheikh Abdul Hakim Murad increases 100 folds today as I discover his deep knowledge of the west African islamic history where I come from. Everything that he's saying is accurate. He clearly demonstrates once again the universality of the beautiful religion of Islam. May Allah protect him and his family in these darkest of times. He's truly our Champion!

    Here in Somalia HIV is below 1% while neighboring countries are struggling high level of HIV cases. The Only reason we got low of HIV is that Zina is not readily available.

    Very informative and culturally sensitive lecture. It might have been interesting, though not comforting, to hear about the relationship, if any, between the Fulani Jihads and slave trade. 18th century was time of cataclysmic upheaval in West Africa, and the ramifications extending to the Americas.

    BarakUllah feek wa ahsant . Praise MOHAMMAD AND HIS PURE INFALLIBLE HOUSEHOLD with much peace. May Allah Almighty accept your deeds and convert all the ones on the wrong side of the scale, if you will. Knowledge is power. The Truth shall set one free and some. Peace brother. I'm very impressed with your command of Arabic. Just brilliant man.

    ‘Don’t seek leadership’....how much of an over arching concept is it? Does it apply to a work environment? What if you are the most qualified for leadership to lead Muslims within your own circles? If that makes sense?

    • @sharp7866
      @sharp7866 3 года назад +1

      @Peter Müller yes, and I think this is the clarification that needs to be made. We quote that Muslims shouldn’t seek leadership. But what we need people to be leaders, (who are doing it for the right reason), and when it’s quoted so open endedly, I truly believe this has an impact on our community. And people don’t step up!

      @@loren1936 yeh. But generally you have to apply for a more senior role. An therefore it’s seeking it?
