Niiiiice! Alex is such a fast and technical player. He mirrors his drum kit so he never has to cross his arms while playing, making him an ambidextrous drummer in most aspects.
The fact that you take the time to react to the musicians themselves gets you my sub. Too many people out here don't bother to see the artists who actually make the amazing music. I highly recommend you check out the video of a guy named Travis Orbin in the studio with the song bugz.
Thanks very much. I’ll definitely check it out. Man in my opinion, watching a musician perform is where the awesomeness lies. To actually see how they structured a song. Thanks again
If you're looking for more live drumming Nils from Dark Funeral is a fucking monster. Check out Hail murder live drum cam for some intense black metal drumming. cheers bud.
GET FUCKED!... HA! Alex is a beast i'm a drummer myself playing almost 20 years i probably watch that drum cam video 2 or 3 times a month he blows me away he effortlessly changes pace & hands for snare, dynamics he has some great videos i'd love to jam with him
React to either David Diepold’s cover of Kingborn by Fleshgod Apocalypse or the playthrough he did for The Foreboding Impasse by Cognizance. Both go hard. Keep up the good work.
not hating on Alex since he is obviously a very capable player, but Faceless will always be with Lyle Cooper in my eyes. He may not be as technically proficient, but I like his style way more than that of Alex Rudinger... just look at some Drumcams from the stuff he did with Abhorrent! Crazy shit.
Yes Lyle composed the material and props to him for that, it's amazingly complex and well written. But watching him play the material isn't nearly as impressive, he looks as if he's struggling and barely pulling it off. Alex on the other hand has is far more in control and with style to boot, that is a far more impressive thing to witness.
He only filled in as their drummer for a year or so, if you plan on doing Rudy again, something from conquering dystopia or good tiger, bands he is still currently a part of (also original drummer for those bands)
Check out the Faceless songs called an autopsy and pestilence if you enjoy them. But if you want to see some more insane drum cams check out Alex Grind playing the song Retina. Haha crazy stuff
in fact, i do believe alex and anup actually shared studio for a bit. i'd throw an actual song suggestion but i havent listened to the guy in years so i forget, maybe "Dreamer" or "Titan"

React to Lyle Cooper's live version of this. He was the drummer in the first The Faceless drummer video you did

He only did that 2nd album... how can the faceless "always be lyle" if hes just another drummer in the pile that bit the dust.

Honestly he's doing all the work in that BAH duh duh BAAH duh duh duh part. It would be so boring without the drum changes
this is literally the lowest common denominator of reaction videos.
