This band and the singer prev band Dissection are amazing. Specially dissection is literally obscura but fully black metal. Its such a wonderful trip. Dissection and watain have really stood in my headt from the black metal scene. Specially watain
My fav is Ode of the Sun. Uffff the slow heavy technical style with the black metalish voice just amazing. Obscura is like nile and dying fetus. You have to listen on a sick sound system.out loud

The lead guitarist Christian Muenzner actually played on Necrophagist’s second album Epitaph! He was in Spawn of Possession on Incurso as well

Diluvium.(the song) and Devoured Usurper are really good, slow, heavy, Morbid Angelesque songs by them that are newer.

Christian also have a Melodic Black Metal band: Thulcandra. And yes they're considered the new Dissection haha. My suggestion: Gates of Eden
