when you first start up a new computer it often has a backlog of updates updates work the cpu and cause the fan to run you need to finish the updates and start using the laptop to know if the fan will be on most of the time and I believe there is a cover you can slide over to block the camera did you make sure it was uncovered? windows hello won't work if the cameras are covered!
The fan sound seems loud, but where's the mic? A few seconds after 26:37 you hear a pretty loud key click, while we don't see anything like that happen in the video. It's like the fan sound has been close mic'd and mixed into the video. I'm not saying the fan is quiet, I know Lenovos can get loud, but I wonder if something about the setup overemphasizes the sound here.
It wasn't a key click it was the pen hitting the glass, I guess. The mic is on camera aiming at me. The noise was ridiculously loud, the setup doesn't overemphasize it.
I am almost 100% certain you got a bad egg. You should contact customer service. They will probably offer you a replacement. Sometimes there are Quality Control issues especially with new devices like yours.
Dr. Sam, for supreme performance and versatility, you'd probably like the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo or the ASUS Zephyrus S17 laptop. I myself am saving up for the latter.
I had quite a few ASUS'es and they all had very funny touchpads (they lived their own lives). But, it's a valid point - I'll look into that. Cheers and thank you for watching!

In korea, lg gram360 14 (14t90p, reviewed on my channel) is 16:10 14inch display, 72wh battery, 1.21kg specs. The display is same dimention to x1ty's 13.5inch 3:2 display on 4:3 pdf document viewing. I think you like that machine too.
Hi! Maybe the melodic sound during boot indicates some hardware problems? Something with the cooling system. Can you confirm quality issues with the clickpad as noted in Notebookcheck review ?(www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-ThinkPad-X1-Titanium-Yoga-Review-High-End-Business-Convertible-with-Intel-EVO-and-Titanium-chassis.531069.0.html ) I am wondering whether to buy X1 Titanium Yoga but if input devices are bad it is not worth it... especially for a ThinkPad! I think I will settle with Yoga 5 Gen. Thanks!
@@DrSamsHealth Thanks! So probably the Notebookcheck review had some faulty clickpad. The the three buttons are comfortable when You use TrackPoint to navigate.

Both of your Lenovo laptops should have camera shutter to block camera.

Click pad was fine, though I didn't use it that much. It's small and has 3 buttons for no reason, but it was fine overall.
