Thanks Lisa for all the wonderful reviews. What I love about the Lenovo is the fact that the back cover is easy to remove and access the battery and other components. My two Microsoft Surface Pros need batteries and replacing them is a nightmare so I have to keep them plugged-in. A real hassle! Thanks again.
i had to decide between the x1 yoga and the x1 titanium. the regular x1 yoga, with its nice set of ports, bigger battery, deeper key travel won me over. i love it so far.

O. Mg. This one's really caught my attention. (Not the cat, the laptop.) A 3:2 convertible ThinkPad! A magnetically attached pen! Too bad about the keyboard and trackpad though. Looking forward to your regular X1 Yoga review! BTW I've used DataCamp before and it was helpful. That's how I learned R. Great review as always.
Thanks Lisa. Was actually disappointed in this product. It like Lenovo took one step forward and two step backwards. Love the screen aspect ratio since I can fit more lines of code. Don’t love the 1.3 key travel since my current x1 yoga has 1.8 which is a pleasure to type. Missing is the built in stylus which surprised me how often I use without worry charging it nor where I placed it. Gone is stereo sound. Gone are all the handy ports so I don’t have to carry dongle Including hdmi port, and usb. I love it lighter but it lighter because it cut too many things out. Wished it was thicker but kept the same screen ratio.
The haptic trackpad by sensel it is the best feature. Only apple had this amazing technology so far. You can click everywhere and it is so nice. 1 finger for right click and 2 ginger for left click.
Windows’ gesture controls seem to be not very friendly to haptic trackpads. My MacBook Pro’s haptic trackpad works great in macOS, but pretty bad in Bootcamp.
The traits of the material seem to fit the product concepts; securing sufficient shock resistance while keeping the weight mobile if only the theory is still alive from the former firm.
I might have a "titanium fetish" and I do love the 3:2 aspect ratio, but when Lenovo continues to make compromises with the keyboard design then that's a hard "no" from me.
I really do not like this trend of soldering RAM in place. It almost forces you to upgrade in a few years if you find you're doing more work or that the application mix has changed. It also means you have ot buy more ram at the start. I looked at the Lenovo Canada website and these machines only spec out at a Max of 16Gb. I was hoping they would offer a 32Gb model. Since I keep my machines for a very very long time (My T61 from 2000 is still running) I tend to over-spec them at the start.
Have picked up a used X1 Yoga Titanium. Not that I ever buy new anymore after Lenovo repeatedly multi-charged and refunded my payment for two years straight. I had to cancel my credit card and talk to a collections agency to stop it. Based on reviews when it was new it seemed like reviewers were not impressed. Personally I find the trackpad, keyboard and speakers fantastic, even compared to modern M2/M3 Macbooks. It does get a bit hot compared to the MSI gaming laptop with overkill fans I used to use (free to me). Shame they have discontinued this specific laptop line, I think it had potential.
It's funny how people can have such a different feedback. I never used any trackpad that can came even close to Apple's force track. It's so good that it makes you prefer the trackpad to the mouse even in excel. But I don't like Apple and this implementetion here makes me heppy. Force tracpad is finally on Windows and I would never use a clasic trackpad again
I need the cheapest 360 laptop compatible with pen just for take notes but is not necessary the best pen , I have a professional graphic tablet... but I need a decent graphic card for photoshop , premier and around of 12 to 16 RAM...in the future I will buy something like samsung flex but is expensive and doesn't have 4k ,so I need to wait maybe one or two years but the problem is that I need a computer right know .. I also need to save money and buy a high performance 360 laptop in the future ... so what can you recoment me ? I need to start ,if I buy a expensive laptop it need to have the best performance so I prefer to wait but I need something know and may be in the future can be my student computer 🙄

Could you take a couple of screenshots/video of a PDF file that has text?? I'm concerned about text readability on this 2K screen. I have been a 4k user for a long time and I haven't been a big fan of Thinkpad's FHD screens because I experienced text blurriness on them.
Them bezels tho... It looks like manufacturers haven’t figured out slim bezels on ultra books. And why are only Apple and Dell utilising the full space available below the keyboard to have a giant trackpad?!
Dell and others have ultrabooks (including convertible ones) with the tiniest bezels on the top and sides. Honestly having a bit more bezel up top is very low on my list of cons for this laptop.
my thinkpad 370 yoga screen is dying. thinking of getting the gen 6 or titanium. is 250grams weight difference that noticeable? i dont really care about the size.
I probably won't purchase thinkpad anymore. My thinkpad X1 yoga 2 gen's two thunderbolt ports do not function after update their official drive and firewarm and it's a common issue for thinkpad which use thunderbolt 3 between 2017 and 2019 according to their official website. I am okey with that some parts have issue since it's new design or technology but at least you should be responsible for your products. Am I asking too much that at least give me a free troubleshot since you made a problem for all your products between 2017-2019?
Hi Lisa, great review! I am thinking about buying X1 Titanium Yoga but in my country they do not include the Precision Pen inside the box. It is also not possible to buy it separately. Do you think, or maybe you can check it, if any other Wacom AES technology will work? Like Bamboo Ink Plus? Thanks!

Everything that used to make Thinkpads great is evaporating at a rapid pace... Key travel getting shorter and shorter is the most ridiculous change, as great keyboard was always the biggest selling point for these machines. Soon we will see soldered SSDs just like on macbooks.
while i agree, all thinkpads isnt the same. The T-series is more or less the closest to "classic" Thinkpad atm while still being portable. got one myself with 4750U and 32gb ram.
