Damn flat floor cab overs are awesome. I remember having to climb over the dog house regardless of what companies cab you're in. This is a beautiful truck. I want them brought back home to the states.
$450K???? Are y’all nuts? Almost half a million dollars for a frigging highway truck? You better make a minimum of $10.00/mile for each mile that truck is rolling and up from there, or you’re nothing but a slave to the banksters ! Anywho, there are no COE trucks available on the North American market. I wish Kenworth would offer this model here, but of course, with the steering wheel on the left side of the cab. Those big squared up fuel tanks are absolutely awesome ! 👍🏻
I'm European and there aren't any longnose trucks here, but all "cabovers" have air suspension(I call them "floating" 😆) cabs since I think 1990(The year Renault MAGNUM came out, so not long after the rest of the European manufacturers applied the technology in their following generation of trucks). It took the American manufacturers plus two decades to apply the same technology, which tells a lot about the American way of thinking. One more thing that made Renault MAGNUM revolutionary is being the first fully flat floor cabover! The engine didn't stick out into the cab's interior at all! Nowadays I think all the European trucks can do that, yet as I noticed this new Kenworth still can't. Anyhow! My all time favourite truck is the K100 Aerodyne, which is by today's standards, absolutely dated, it has that iconic cab-shape and beautiful design in my opinion. But what really bugs me is that many American drivers hate cabovers, if they knew that the European cabovers are much more comfortable and more spacious than their "commercial" trucks, they'd go apesh1t! 😆
Thanks for watching. The inside is so spacious compared to what you might think when looking from the outside. Really nice. I’ll ask about the torque and write it here… I’m hoping to do more truck videos like this one.

Give americans their credits for these cabover experience builds , and also leave american residents and natives alone. Let them have their freedom of speech back
Australian are so lucky they have both eu and us trucks. And having a classic kenworth cabover with modern touch is like a dream
God I wish we could get these in the U.S. I'd love to work in a truck like this.

A proper wagon with the bonus of a manual gearbox as well .
Wish we had them available over here in the UK instead of all that dull European crap !
Bring them back to the United States. I'll buy one
Overall great job, but you should have asked him about the torque!

200 gallon each fuel tank. Dang.
It's big but it looks like the storage bins are pretty small.

The K220 runs a Specially designed Transmission to suit The X15 Performer Euro 6 Engine
Can get it in new ultrashift, personally I would take the 18sp manual any day of the week. Hate autoshifts....

And you still need to climb to tree to get in.
Same old dog kennel with a small facelift.
