No offence.. It strikes me that parents need a manual these days to raise kid's.. I had a good slapped arse when younger, it taught me a lesson, and my parents were decent, I loved them, and vice versa .. Discipline is discipline, child abuse is definitely something else..
Yeah, I have a 5yo daughter and spanks are reserved only when the situation is too much like the stove thing, otherwise it will be just a "no peppa pig or paw patrol on TV for the whole day to you" or something like that.
