What a blessing to still see her performing this day and age. As a kid all the music I listened to was through TV or Radio. I accidentally took my dads ipod shuffle instead of my own, when going to play out with friends. This song comes on whilst I'm bombing down the road on my bike. Never looked back. Introduced an entire world of music for me. 15 years on.
If one listens to music in the past 50 years, there is pre Ann Wilson female vocalist and post. Listen to the other female singers at Wacken and you can hear Ann's influence everywhere.
Ann I had the pleasure to attend at your Oshawa Civic Auditorium concert in the mid seventies as a new EMS worker. Now retired I have developed a music education program for underprivileged and at risk youth. Thanks for your inspiration all these years

Amazing. Her voice, her unbelievably phenomenal voice, it's still there. I can relate. I too had an ungodly octave range, and time shaves the edges off. Lung capacity, the way flesh stretches, time is unkind to singers, and everybody else. Young people should take note. Nothing lasts forever. It's an ephemeral existence, for a little while.
