All of that- and the band still played tight as ever and Ann sounded fantastic- at 72, no less!!

Getting old sucks for all of us....poor Ann looked like a grandma up there. but still singing pretty well without the top end of her range. It would be between her and Pat Benatar as the best ever female singer in rock.

I don't know what video most of you were watching. But, it couldn't have been the one I just watched. I love Ann as much as anyone. However, she sounded like crap. She couldn't hit even the mid-range notes. She resorted to doing that talking thing that singers do when they know they can no longer sing their songs. Could it have been just an off day? Sure. I hope that it the case. The alternative means that she needs to exit the stage and just enjoy her life. We love you Ann. I'm sure you don't want to be "that" person. You know? The one who stays waaay longer than they should. Whelp, that's just my 2cents.
The band did not do a sound check for this performance and the equipment were not their own, they borrowed it from another band on this occasion. Also you can look it up here on youtube recent Ann performances from these past few weeks and days, she's sounding amazing!

My first ever Wacken, i travelled more than 20 hours just to see Ann Wilson and i appear like 6 seconds in this video, life is beautiful.
