Thanks bro! TBH it's like 1000 times easier when I have less screen time. I can put all the focus and attention on telling people's stories. And people are interesting. At the end of the day its not just about pumping products and things - it's also about what connects us and makes us human.
@@RunPlayBack Absolutely! But you definitely do a really great job at showcasing and editing the most important pieces together :-) don’t get me wrong either, because I absolutely love your reviews on products just as much if not more! Cheers!
@@scubatrucker6806 - Yeah totally; it’s not nearly as used as our other socials as we aren’t the video pros like Rik; but we do get content up every now and again. Give it a follow, and like some videos so we have more motivation to post more content here😮😁🤙
So, I bet you also didn't know you can find old mopeds in the used car lot at Baldwin and Montcalm, either...... you'll pay more, and they won't be fixed, but hey..... You won't have to drive to Ohio. 😀
I've dealt with Alex a few times over the years. 🤙 I picked up my 78 Kromag Puch in Ohio. Been riding Astrid since 2014! Have riden all of the D, over the years. About 15,000mi now. Most moped riders around the D know my red Kromag, I think. I'm one of the locals who sticks to the same bike, instead of messing with a bunch of different bikes.
@@RunPlayBack And great resource in town, for sure. One day I would LOVE to build a 78 Kromag Swinger 2, with a good sized mid-drive motor, using a belt drive.
I went to Alex’s shop b4 my Ariel Grizzly was delivered ! Really NICE guy I was there looking for up grades ... but he directed me to another shop further south on Michigan Ave ... his shop is more Moped than e-bike .. I should have bought locally.. this Grizzly came with SO MANY issues was delivered October 25th and I’ve still not been able to take it outside and ride it , it’s STILL in my basement because of the MANY ISSUES and missing parts that aren’t being sent after communicating with that company ON LINE NO phone communication AT ALL 😡
Bummer about the Grizzly. If you can find a way to get the bike back to them and come shopping with us and/or if you want a second eBike; this is the best time of year for deals. If I remember correctly, I believe that when you came in, we only Monday, Himiway, Addmotor, KBO, & Detroit Bikes eBikes with a Max speed of 28mph (Michigan Legal Limit) and you were looking for something a bit quicker. We now have the Monday gateway (Max 31mph+ depending on rider size), Spark Bandit (Max 40 mph), ONYX cty2 (Max 50mph), and Onyx RCR (Max 60mph). AND they are all on big Small Business Saturday Sales - So if you can still shop local, reach out and mention this post. We'll hook you up! - Alex
