Yes it was the American Baptist missionaries who came to our states(Nagaland,Manipur and surrounding areas). The coming of Christians missionaries was the greatest gift ever we received from you and always thankful for it. No matter how difficult it was then to come and preach the good new in areas where head hunting and illiterate tribals lives, the came and gave their lives , sacrificing for our people, and I will always remain thankful for that. Christianity is rising in india especially in our regions but I'm also so much saddened to see that many people in America are turning away from God rapidly in the recent decades.
