  • I've been a long time Haley Reinhart fan, but haven't listened to her for a little while. BIG MISTAKE! Her voice has somehow gotten even better! This is simply an amazing performance.
Welcome to my “Modern Life for the 70's Mind” RUclips Channel. On this channel, I not only take a look at the songs and history that made us who we are today, but also introduce you to today's modern music as well. Any songs that combine the two are always a winner. I've always loved music and have always tried to keep a balance between the classic music I fell in love with and today's MUCH DIFFERENT sounds. Here's we'll analyze both. We’ll even take some time and revisit some of the old parts of our past that have disappeared from today’s shelves and most people’s memories, I call it Bob's Cabinet of Curiosity. Let’s relive those moments together! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking time out of your day to check in. I appreciate it more than I can say here.

Haley is just mesmerizing and a vocal master . Angelina Jordan , Haley Reinhart , Morgan James, and KZ Tandingan , are all at the top level of vocal mastery. They all bring something unique and special to the table.

@@ModernLifeForThe70sMind - You NAILED it when you said a lot of performers just do the same well-rehearsed runs every time... and that Haley is improvising as she goes.
There's quite a few cuts here on RUclips of her doing this song in various live performances... and I've never heard her do it the same way twice. That goose pimple inducing "Creep" cover you just reacted to not only stayed on the Billboard Digital Jazz Chart for 58 straight weeks, but it also is the first and only PMJ music video to have surpassed 100 million views.
As Haley Reinhart is by far the best vocalist to have ever performed with PMJ. Not only that but she was also the best thing that ever happened to PMJ. As prior to Haley's arrival, all PMJ ever played were cheap dives and tiny venues. Then subsequently after Haley Reinhart arrived and quickly recorded several music videos with them that all went viral, suddenly PMJ found themselves filling coliseums and arenas.
As far as vocal improvements go, Haley has always been supremely talented and gifted with her vocal prowess, however, the one area where she really did grow and get significantly better at is in her performance skills. Not to mention that Haley's musicality is off the charts.
Moreover, had American Idol permitted only "one vote per individual voting" as opposed to "almost unlimited power voting", Haley would have easily won American Idol in a landslide.
Anyway, let me recommend a few must react to music videos that Haley with PMJ was featured on and all of these are really fantastic: "Seven Nation Army", "Don't Speak", "Oops, I Did it Again", and Habits. All of those have far more views relative to the many other PMJ music artists with the exception of "Don't Speak", which was quite recently recorded just a few months ago.
Finally, Haley could easily be a mega star today already. However, for many years now, Haley has repeatedly turned down more record deals put on the table in front of her than you can shake a stick at.

My dads friend was good friends with Harry Reinhart, Haley’s father. The friend always had a big BBQ for 4th of July and Haley’s father and mothers band would perform. Haley was just a little girl at the time, a few years younger than me. I only recently put this all together when I randomly found her covers on RUclips and eventually came across a video of her and her dad performing together. I’m thinking “I definitely know that guy” which got me to start googling before I put the pieces together!

@@stillracer2514 You're making a lame excuse for you Morgan James fans to continue hijacking, inundating, and flooding every Haley Reinhart reaction video thread to beg and plead to reactors to please, please, please react to Morgan James because unlike Haley, Morgan isn't nearly good enough to generate reaction videos on her own. Which is also why Morgan's RUclips view counts are a tiny fraction of Haley's RUclips view counts.
Indeed, you Morgan James fans totally flood, inundate, and hijack every freaking Haley Reinhart reaction video thread to the point that all the Haley fans are washed out.
Moreover, this video isn't being reacted to because it is a PMJ video. It's being reacted to because Haley Reinhart made this music video a master piece. If it were being reacted to because of PMJ, then the Karen Marie version of "Creep" with the same exact PMJ music arrangement would have more views relative to Haley's version of "Creep". Because Karen recorded her version months earlier.
However, all it has is a measly 2.5 million views relative to Haley's version of over 105 million views. Not to mention that the Haley version, in stark contrast to the Karen Marie version, also stayed on the Billboard Digital Jazz Chart for 58 straight weeks.
By the way, how many Morgan James covers stayed on the Billboard Digital Jazz Chart for 58 straight weeks? Zero a big fat zero.

@@jpdemer5 I'm not afraid of clowns, but there is absolutely nothing whatsoever remotely remarkable about either one of their vocals in that "Mad World" music video, but low-information people think that song is a good song to recommend to reactors who react to amazing vocals because they are entertained by that corny bit whereby Haley hides behind that big ugly oaf of a big ass clown and then steps forward and then also by that a little jig in the routine.
Well suggesting to reactors lame performances like "Mad World" be reacted to only harms the performers when the reactors are let down by the lameness of the vocals and then decides to never react to either one of them ever again.
Meanwhile, I'm not a fan of that big ass ugly clown and I will never be a fan of that big ass ugly clown. cool reaction bob. haley is one the greatest, most unique vocalist of our time. postmodern jukebox (or pmj) takes current popular songs and completely re-imagines them vintage (1920s to 1960s) in the music itself and style of the performances that actually take you back in time. they have a variety of good vocals but haley reinhart especially with postmodern jukebox is incredible. all the other haley/pmj ones are great also: "all about the bass", "habits", "black hole sun", "mad world", "seven nations army", "oops i did it again", "lovefool" and the very recent "don't speak".
i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. even when she uses very little of her unique vocal acrobatics, her pure raw soft voice is amazing like in the intro of "creep". you see this even more in her solo platinum cover of "can't help falling in love" for the extra gum commercial which is truly stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like here: (ruclips.net/video/_uNpEbt7w_o/видео.html )

More like Haley Reinhart is the genius. As all of her music videos have garnered astronomically far more views relative to every other PMJ vocalist.

@@bertjones3010 I'm talking Haley's music videos have astronomically far more RUclips views relative to every other PMJ vocalists. I mean, no one is close to her.
As Haley by far is the very best vocalist to have performed with PMJ. Not only that, but prior to her arrival, all PMJ ever played were cheap dives and tiny venues. Then after Haley arrived and quickly recorded several music videos that all went viral, suddenly PMJ found itself filling coliseums and arenas. As Haley was the best thing that ever happened to Scott Bradlee and PMJ. Indeed, she did more to make Scott a millionaire than even Scott himself did.
Meanwhile, if you want to deny reality, go ahead. As you have always been nothing but a moonbat.

@@theblackdog2399 Moonbat. I like that. Not so sure why you think belittling everyone else is actually needed by Haley because I don't think that actually elevates her in the eyes of anyone else. It just makes you look bad.
Talk about what you like about her, not trash other people. She's wonderful and I've loved her music for over a decade so don't feel you have to sell her to me. There is room to appreciate other artists work too. I hope you'll stop being such a little person.

After listening to Floor Jansen and the mastery of her instrument, I found that Haley has that same skill, and while Haley doesn't have the range, or formal training, she has been my favorite vocalist since 2011. Floor's right up there, but on my playlist I've got a soft spot for Haley. And what you call "under rated" I call jobbed. And keeping up with her some on social media, I'm not sure she could have lived her life as free as she has if she'd gone mainstream. And I admire that she's expanded her horizons by getting into other areas of the entertainment industry.
But I'd like to step back and request you take a newer sampling of some of Floor's solo projects which are taking her off to a new level of appreciation for her talent. Some of those projects to sample from are:
Beste" Zangers - solo of Shallow and the duet with Henk Poort on Phantom of the Opera
Fall of 21 Amsterdam concert - Slow, Love, Slow and Storm in a Glass
Current hit single - Fire specifically this live version - ruclips.net/video/rqwHMgo_DdQ/видео.html
One interesting vocalist that you seemingly haven't reacted to is the young Russian contralto Diana Ankudinova. While she sings in 5 different languages (so far) three songs exemplify her unique vocals (French, 2 Russian). Derniere Danse, Rechenka, and Crow. It might take a little work considering the current status of the media in Russia currently but they are out there. (should you need assistance finding appropriate versions let me know).
And lastly, I've been somewhat taken (like I haven't been able to remove it from my mind for a month) by a song from the 1976 French/Canadian cyber punk rock Opera, Starmania which has been revived recently, that has, for me, some strong emotional musical hooks even though I don't speak French. The song title is SOS d'un terrien en détresse. It is a piece written for a male to sing. The first person I heard perform it was Giulia Falcone. It made enough of an impression on me to not only explore the origins of the piece but also listen to some other artists perform it including the original performer, Daniel Balavoine.

One of the most dynamic voices of this century, who at times is elevated to the status of Alien, Dimash Kudaibergen. Though I've heard him sing before and he is not a favorite (I've thought him more a circus act - though an elevated circus like Cirque du Soleil) he absolutely produces a mind blowing introduction of himself in performing this song at the venue called the Slavic Bazaar in 2018 - Even if you choose not to create a reaction video, I highly recommend you visit the circus at least once in your lifetime - ruclips.net/video/W29zEuZVaxs/видео.html
