We've been using this to scan books for clients lately and it does a decent job. Not quite good enough for some shiny things, but it's a nice tool to have. We've done some professional jobs, and it does a good job of removing the page curl in the SW provided. We can't use it for photo books, but we have another book scanning setup for that.
no mention of scanning focus quality at corner/edge of scanned images which is a major weakness of non-contact scanner. What is the specs of the CMOS sensor?
If you still have films in your archives, a specialised film scanner will give the best quality. If you have only prints in your archives, this scanner will produce slightly worse quality. Automatic cropping is provided. Good luck!
@@sergeyegerev2492 I ended up using my iPhone 15 with “photomyne” app. I have scanned over 20,000 6x4” photos with a dedicated canon photo scanner, i feel I’m “qualified” to make a decision on what’s good or not when it comes to scanning pics. I was due to tackle the photo albums and I’ve put this off for ages. To say I’m pleased with the phone app would be an understatement. I set up some filtered studio lighting from the side. Ensured my camera lens was always spotless. Paid $60 for the year and went for it. It crops several pics at a time. It saves it to the cloud, I got my mother in law to access the alternate viewing account, she got in to name the photos or add descriptions via the app. I don’t want to pay further subscriptions to store and view the pictures (even though they present beautifully) so I downloaded all the albums…- when downloading all your photos in one zip file it will attach a text document to each photo sequentially and named the same as the photo. The text file contains any detailed descriptions that’s been added. The added colour correction, and B+W colorizer is absolutely phenomenal. The ai cropping is 95% accurate and most of the time no intervention is required. The makers of the app have done a wonderful job, and I suspect without checking that the iPhone camera quality is probably better than these dedicated scanners. Considering the speed and the quality of the scans. Thought I would add that for anyone in the same predicament. A lot cheaper and more convenient than these big scanners. It will do negatives, slides, and documents etc as well. I haven’t done documents, but if it handles it as well as photos, I would see Zero need for a dedicated scanner like this (now).
Friend,I don't know why I haven't heard back from you, please let me know if you feel uncomfortable during the communication. as promised you should have posted the video, but I didn't see the relevant video. Anyway, please let me know what you think.
Michael, come home. Your parents are very worried about the number of sponsored "reviews" you've been making. Your wife gave birth and you missed it to review shitty air purifiers.

What scanning setup do you prefer for highest quality? I have some music books that I’d love to scan

The only shots I see to tell the quality of the scan was the mobile images and they looked curved.
Is it possible to use the software with images scanned from a flatbed scanner?
Do you have any idea how this works with Mac computers?
I'm scanning a journal written in cursive. Can this software convert cursive to text
Yes it can. Did well for me.
I have HEAPS of photo albums to scan. Will this auto crop out photos?

Wouldn't fast document scanner like "Scansnap" a quicker process? The downside to this Scansnap is that you will destroy the book by taking it apart.

PSA: those buttons and pedals are NOT USB! They should never be plugged in USB ports and vice versa.
What do you mean?
@@mustacheboyo They are electrically incompatible with USB ports and must not be used with them.
Im quite early
The pictures or scans are curvy.

I hate when RUclipsrs beg for likes and subscriptions.
I just rewatched the part where I ASK for my viewers to like & subscribe. Not sure where you heard me "begging". Please don't subscribe to my channel.
