Nice unboxing video. I have one now for archival purposes. The finger cots are used in conjunction with the foot pedal. That way you can hold the page flat with the finger cots and then scan using the pedal.
Technically yes, because it is essentially like taking a photo. Different use cases though, because this document scanner can also transcribe the scanned pages into an editable document.
Cool video! If you haven't already, I'd be really curious if you could test out some more advanced features -- could you test out the canner with books that feature glossy images? Or see how well the OCR works with difficult recognition tasks like working with Chinese or Japanese characters?
Do you think the scanner can do books that are taller than the recommended 10mm height maximum? I want one of the Shine series scanners, but worried about their ability to do slightly thicker books.
I have an old Epson flat bed scanner, which works but its very slow. This CZUR system looks great. But they are more expensive, and I 'm worried if its power supply will work in New Zealand.
Nice video review. I was wondering if the curvature of the scanned pages, even with the finger tabs, can completely flatten the pages? What I'm looking for is a scanning device which can completely flatten curved pages in a book. Also, does it scan up to an A3 page? Thanks. Is your coupon still available?
Yes it can remove the curvature of the pages. It actually does a great job. Im not sure if the coupon code still works, however, I can reach out to see if a new one can be generated. It scans pages of all sizes.
Good to know. In one unboxing I saw a cd included. I wonder if that might resolve the issue -- but something unwanted could be on the CD and updates are going to come from online.
Thanks for posting this. I wish you could have shared your screen as you are clicking different buttons, selecting different functions. Yes you are talking about it, but it feels to me, as you are explaining things to yourself. Focus on the audience. Show your screen for a few seconds, before you click on anything.
Sorry, but this review is worthless, you guess way to much, and if you only need to scan text pages, you can buy a lot of other camera scanners to a 1/10 of the price - why didn't you scan the black front to see how well it does that - what about pictures?
about how long does it take to scan a page (or two pages?)

Thanks for the info! Makes sense. I have started archiving some pamphlets as well using this
is this a faster process to scan documents then the big printers with scanners where you have to flip it and walk to it

Thank you. This was really helpful to get me going on the scanner.

I am so uncomfortable turning off my virus control to download software from China. It's the only way to use my Czur product.

As a harware, this scanner doesn't has anything worth. Everything you can do with your phone, everything you need is good profesional software.
thanks for trying but you don't yet understand the product, not helpful to review before you do

I notice none of the online reviews scan data for import into EXCEL. All they do is violate copyright laws.
