Really want to see videos of how the locals live . From their plantations to their cooking, eating and washing. What the local houses look like. Can't find any videos like that on yt, only tourist films which don't give a glimpse of Tahitian everyday life . Do you have any such footages to share? Thanks!👌👍

Takes longer than 2 hours to drive around the island. Weather is MUCH hotter, hence Tahitians use of pareau. English is a mandatory language in their schools so the younger generation CAN speak English. BUT if they don't want to talk to you, they won't.

My girlfriend lives in Tahiti so I visit her a lot
Here's what I can tell any tourist that goes to Tahiti
Don't spend to much time in Papeete when I first got to Tahiti I went straight into the city (Papeete) in the begging it was amazing just being in Tahiti felt like I was in heaven.
Papeete and beggars now when you are in Papeete there's a lot of people laying down on side walks begging for money sometimes the beggars get violent but you should be able to fend them off since they look so skinny
Night life in Papeete now stores close at around 5-7 PM and the McDonald's closes at 10:00 or 10:30 but I would suggest going to the roulette just because it's a bit cheaper (Depending where you choose)
Then right by the Market of Papeete there's A LOT of homeless people that go and sleep by the market.
There's also prostitution late at night so if your that type of guy and like this then go out at night and you'll find someone
*Everything is expensive if you are a tourist*
Go to *Moorea* it's more for tourists
