Could you do a tutorial on the underhand thumb rollover? I'm finding the trick to be a bit tricky, especially the catch. EDIT: I just had to speed up on the rollover, I wasnt doing it fast enough.
Yo I have Krake Raken Bowie Dual Tone Red for a few days already, it's my first decent knife and I absolutely love it! The feeling of flipping and the sound is just so good - w -
so your underhand thumbrollover after the bt8b isnt it more like a orbit since you end up catching the same handle that you started the rollover with(the bite handle) because that's what i've been seeing
the underhand thumb rollover is kicking my ass. everything else is coming along, but damn that underhand thumb rollover is just so difficult for me for some reason.
Bt8b and full twirls have caused me to hit a wall…probably because my fingers are cut to hell and back but I’m buying a nautilus on the Wednesday drop so I can progress and move forward
@@WillHirschFlips it's theKnivesmatter AoD bounty hunter. It has pretty good reviews and looks alright for a thirty dollar knife. Also youtube won't let me send a link.
8 months late but I always have so much trouble with the first transfer in a behind the 8 ball and by extention the 2nd In a helix. I touch my fingers together, but the knife usually has already stopped dead before I can get preserve the momentum into the 2nd rollover. Any tips?
I thought the cherry picker was where you did the behind the 8 ball on the outside like he said but you started the first rollover with your middle finger then your index then your thumb, idk I just thought the way he explained it it sounded more like a helix but still good video like always
Hey so I've been flipping for 2 years and pretty much the only thing I can do consistently idk the name of but the point of this comment is to suggest some kind of "flipping reviews" where you watch others flip and you go through thier video and name off tricks what their doing wrong or right If this doesn't make sense then just forgeta bout it
The bit right after the reversal where you go back around the thumb, is that essentially a y2k but sideways (so it’s basically horizontal instead of vertical)?
@@WillHirschFlips I’ve been trying it and it’s going to take me some time! I’m only about 7 months into flipping…. (Though I’ve had one since the mid-’80s!)
