In this vlog, my sister Bianca and I explore Sagada. Quite possibly one of my most favorite places in the Philippine. From the long bus ride to discovering hidden gems, this vlog candidly captures everything we did in this serene mountain town.
Day 1:
Our journey began with an overnight bus ride via Coda Lines bus from Cubao to Sagada. Once we arrived, we went straight to the Tourism Information Center to pay the necessary fees. After that, we grabbed brunch at Yoghurt House.
We then checked in at Clairence Inn (booked through Facebook) for a cozy and comfy stay before heading out to explore Bomod-ok Falls. The hike was totally worth it even if it was challenging.
Day 2:
On the second day, we started with breakfast at Banas Coffee, then went on a tour to see the famous Echo Valley and Hanging Coffins booked via Sega Tours. After that, we made our way to Blue Soil which was a much easier hike than Bomod-Ok.
For lunch, we tried Etag Pizza at Salt & Pepper-a Sagada specialty. We wrapped up the day with a visit to the Ganduya Museum, where we learned so much about Sagada’s rich history and culture.
Day 3:
On our last day, we had a relaxing breakfast at Gaia Cafe and spent the rest of the morning shopping around the town for souvenirs. It was the perfect way to end an amazing trip in the mountain province.
Whether you’re into nature, culture, or just enjoying good food, you need to check out Sagada. I hope this vlog can help you plan your own trip. Please leave any suggestions if I missed anything :) See you next week!
💐about me
Hi! My name is Heidi and I live in Tokyo, Japan. 🍜
I moved to Tokyo, Japan as a Japanese language student in 2019 due to my love for the culture. Since that time I've passed the JLPT N4, JLPT N3 levels and N2 levels! Hopefully I pass N1 in the future.
In my free time, I love exploring all of what Japan has to offer: from eating delicious Japanese food, to learning Japanese, to exploring local spots around the city I try my hand at documenting every moment of it.

Thank yewww 💖💖
love this vlog! i recently went to sagada too. i joined a buscalan village - sagada tour and wow, it’s one of my core memories now. watching this vlog reminded me of how much i liked it there 😊 my favorite part was hiking marlboro hills, especially the ascent. we were lucky enough to see the sea of clouds 🤍 i definitely want to go back on a diy tour and food trip every day 😂 sagada is such a special place. can’t wait to go back!
Thank you so much! I haven't heard of Buscalan 👀 Was the ascent to Marlboro Hills hard? I think Sagada still remains sooo underrated 😋
@ buscalan is where apo whang od lives! ☺️ the ascent was quite easy since there were a lot of paved parts. also there were quite a few snacks you could buy along the way 😂 hoping to go back to sagada someday 🩷
Is there a Mang Inasal in Sagada ma'am?
How many hours is it from manila to sagada? Is it true there are no hotels, just inns?
Its over 10 hours depending on the traffic 😭 but its so worth it! :) As for hotels, I think its mostly homestays and inns.
