@@陈东宇 Correct. Their hurt box is a bit wonky so some combos might not work on them. On the flip side, there are probably combos that ONLY work on them. SF has been known for having character specific combos.
Amazing gameplay. As an improving noob (P1) Guile, things I'm personally going to work on after seeing this match: *Mix up bazooka knee drive rush follow up with throws *When opponent burnt out and need to keep up boom pressure as they retreat, use knee to advance to maintain charge and keep booms going *EX-boom and don't be predictable with the level2 super fireballs when closing out a burnt out opponent to make them less jump-able *Work bHP and cMP into neutrals for a cancel-able button (I use non-cancel-able kicks too much, which gets me DI-d at my rank); relatedly, drive rush into cMP sometimes *EX-flashkick out of jinrai kicks *Be patient in neutral, avoid mashing buttons and just block it out when it isn't my turn (hard to tell when you are still learning all others' blockstrings/framedata); I also need to stop drive rushing in so frequently predictably and need to just battle it out in neutral sometimes *Get comfortable and bring a toothbrush for the overnights you'll spend in the corner against Ken
When Daigo says and demonstrates that his Ken destroys Guile, it's hard to believe it's not a 5-5 at worst for Ken. I think Ken's just assume anything that doesn't feel like a 6-4 in their favor is a bad matchup for them.
I tend to find Guile a little bit not broken, but unbalanced. He has some of the most complex combos to execute, with surprisingly low damages compared to other characters
Guile gets away with it because he can just boom in the corner to get his Drive Gauge back. Other characters its risky since Ken can rush you down and get you into burnout if you do it too many times
@NuckleDuDang you're the pro and I respect what you say about the Ken Guile MU but, from this set at least, it looks more 5.5 - 4.5 in Ken's favor. Guile was working CONSTANTLY. Ken, not so much. It wasn't a typical Ken mauling though. He had to actually work a bit
Nah, he already hit grab before the lag hit. The rollback was just catching up on both sides. Plus you saw Chris back dashing after the lag acknowledging what just happened. Quit trippen
