After all the parties and then more beer at green lake back in 1978 we would all stagger in the back way with beer cans rolling out of the party van down at the back of Beth's Cafe to get our 12 egg full house omelette I never thought it would end.
This makes me very sad, in part because I did not dine there this summer/take my family and friends to boost their business...don't it always seem to go/ that you don't know what you got 'til it's gone/they closed Beth's Cafe'/put up a parking lot.
Maybe if you assholes weren't so busy destroying the town it wouldn't be so bad. Hope your city burns and you fuckers don't move further north. It's bad enough dealing with your fellow communists coming up from California.
I've been to the old Dog House at 2AM of Grunge fame to the Comet and the Blue Moon used to shop at the Old Food Giant in Wallingford and that one on Capital Hill on Broadway where all the old pensioners go at 12 and start drinking and Hatties Hat in Ballard and Julia's 14 carrot café in the early 90s and some other legendary places I've forgotten but never Beth's... oh wait fock yeah been there too forgot. Now live in Scandinavia where shits too expensive basically.. to have an equivalent list.
I went to that cafe a few years ago because a friend recommended it. It was a complete mess! It looked dirty and the walls were covered with kids drawing and there were papers all over the floor. I tried going to the bathroom and there was poop on the seat. I left without trying the food. I was not hip enough for that place.
We love you Beths!
Thanks for the good times, even the one's I can't remember after a night out.
You will be missed 💜
Been over 30 years since I was there. It was always a last stop after a night of bar hopping.
I moved from Seattle a few years back...I'm really sad to see Beth's go.

The 12 egg omelette and the never ending hash Browns will miss you Beth's cafe.😟☺
I'm ready to cry. There aren't many joints left in this techy town. :(

It's closing? Like for good? What a bummer.

Should have just pushed the poop to the side and tried it lol
Thats what I picture all.of Seattle to be like
@@Pewpewpew1991 I wasn't sure if it was part of the decoration as it went with the aesthetic of the place.
I can't believe they closed
Goodbye Seattle
Why it closed ?
@Andi S good question
During the lockdowns it lost a lot of money, and they didn't adjust to doing take-outs.
Commies
@Life, I love THIS COMMENT.
My brother said "Don't go to Beth's on Aurora they have Hep C silverware" lmao
Was your brother the one who lick that silverware?
