Lucina and Palutena. Everything that you learn from those two is transferable onto other characters. If you still want to learn fundamentals, play those two.
HAHAHA, when I bought my switch I literally got a yoshi controller and was so hyped to learn him. little did I know he was one of the weirdest characters to learn first😂
As one of my favorite characters obviously based on my profile picture, I absolutely love playing him in Smash and am always trying to learn new ways to combo with him. This video has been a great help with that, thank you!
Thanks for making this! Finally resolving my character crisis and trying to decide between Mario, Mii Brawler, Yoshi, and Doc. This will go a long way to helping me do that. ... And of course, harass my main practice partner because any Seph main deserves it 😇
Great video thanks! But as a Yoshi main, you're missing a LOT of important combos. Might want to do an updated version or feature a pro level Yoshi player in the future.
I find that most people will mash out hella quick and you won't get the full 4 hits of egg roll. You'll get 2 hits if you're lucky or maybe more if they are bad at mashing at high percent. I usually use Down air, Fsmash, or Down B for easy damage. Sometimes it's better to just not hit the egg so much and bait your opponent into either jumping out or staying grounded from the egg and punish accordingly. Sometimes, this is really hard to land, but go for another egg lay for the ultimate disrespect.
Yoshi is the first character I picked up, I'm gonna practice with him later.
FireBlaze He’s the best starter character in my opinion
@@mikeconnery5328 I agree, one of the best starter characters. Yoshi is my favorite Mario character.

@@mikeconnery5328 His double jump is too weird for a starter. You might get reliant on it.

is there any good guides for yoshi? I've been looking on RUclips and its confusing for me as a beginner hearing things like "neutral air/landing"

I'm trying to decide between Yoshi and Doc too! I'm trying to decide between Cloud, DK, and Corrin too.
yoshi is pretty goated, his up air + some juggling is easy and overpowered
Great video thanks ! I hope your channel takes off. Looking forward to the palutena bread and butter

The last one I can do but with down+A after and just keep the open t in the air
Is it better to just eggroll when you have someone egged *at high percent* or to do downair?
Back air or down B
