- 👋 Hi everyone-Father John here! I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for making this past week SO phenomenal. We were so incredibly blessed to have so many folks in the building and online throughout Holy Week...the message is just going out in such a beautiful, organic way.
I want to give a special shoutout to the 130+ volunteers, staff, musicians, and custodial staff-everyone who was working on-scene and behind the scenes to make our liturgies and events run so smoothly. THANK YOU!
As we continue the Easter season, keep up the hope, be good to each other, and thank you again! Peace ✌ ️
I live streamed all three days of the Triduum. It was a wonderful, spiritual and blessed experience! Thank you and all of the St Cecelia’s staff and volunteers! It was a joy to see so many folks joining our Catholic faith or coming into full communion with us. A truly Holy Easter experience! By Sunday I was well enough to attend Mass in person, which I did locally to receive the Eucharist. God bless you Fr John!
Holy Thursday mass had me in tears. Good Friday mass and Easter Sunday filled my heart with love and hope. You and the St. Cecilia parish have touched so many hearts. We have shared news about your masses to many here in Southern California. Love you Fr. John. Love the musicians and your whole liturgical team. God bless you all.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Holy week was so beautiful and prayerful....something great is going on at St. C's, Fr. John. Tuning in every week, it is hard to believe that the "church" is losing people. One of the things I especially pay attention to is the number of young people who show up at mass at each liturgy. We find acceptance and safety in Jesus through your mouth, Fr. John. I thank God that a friend directed me to your live stream early during covid ......I have definitely found the loving, non-judgemental Jesus that speaks to my heart. I love when you ask if we believe in the pascal mystery and your response is, "I do, hook, line, and sinka".....That is so much more inviting than to stand in front of us and tell us we must believe in it.

I watched the live stream. Had to set up a AA mtg in Quincy. All I could think about during the mtg was your line,” God is not a bouncer at the pearly gates.”
