Been thru the ectopic pregnancy all the steps in-between to egg donor. Multiple miscarriages. Max amount of fertility drugs that got me hospitalized time and time again. It didn’t end at that when we arrived home from adopting our baby I got a life threatening dx of advanced thyroid cancer. I would never jump into IVF without a mammogram, genetic testing (esp with repeated miscarriages) and a full thyroid work up. It’s a huge step when one can only see a pregnancy in the end it’s so much more than that.

It doesn't help that women are having children later, and that Port was dangerously thin less than a year ago. Being underweight for an extended period of time affects fertility.

The funding being provided is so important! Adoption is NOT for everyone. For those who havent walked down the path of fertility or dont desire biological children of your own, there is no need to comment negatively on another woman's desire to pursue fertility treatment. Wishing you success in whatever you chose to do in the future Whitney!

Well, sadly we won't know if we have fertility issues until we decide to have children or have a lot of money to do tests. I thought I couldn't get pregnant. The good thing I never wanted to have children. I raised all my brothers and sisters and was prepared to live a life child-free. Well, I met my husband at 34, married by 37. I had warned him how at my age, it might be impossible to conceive. At age 39, I decided to try to see if Icouldn even have one. My husband and I werepreparede to buy teslas and travel the world. Boy was I surprised to find out I got pregnant on our first try. I had my first baby at 40 and I'm already planning to have another one. Long story short, no one really knows if one can have kids. If that's your reason not to have kids, you might be missing out on something amazing. Now that I have my little boy, I can't picture my life without. Something to think about.

Sometimes we do not get what we wanted. Maybe she genetically not vital to make a baby now, after all surrogacy also failed. She already have a baby. Yes another baby is great but she is not lacking.
In the past, we accept our limitations and find other happiness in life. This current time, everybody refuse to accept reality. Making baby in old age, want to keep being young by greatly do cosmetic surgery, use medicine people need for their health to loose weight, etc… Crazy time. When human become so selfish and ignore everything else.
In my opinion, she is not representing any woman. This is just for a show and advertisement.

Biology does not give one F that you want to wait until your mid to late 30s to have children. The best time to have children is in your 20s. Complete your education, date as much as you can to find the right one, and have children while you’re young. Of course, this isn’t possible for everyone, but it is ideal.

    • @totit_t1445
      @totit_t1445 12 дней назад +7

      YES!! The 20s definitely!!!!🤗🤗🤗
However, most people are BROKE in their 20s. Children are a lifetime of RESPONSIBILITY. Having kids because you can (and with no STABLE career, no money) is a disaster. In my opinion, the best time to have children is when you can afford them. Unfortunately for most women, by the time they can afford to have Children they will be in their 80's. 😂😂😂😂
My advice: Don't have Children for the sake of having children or to say you have children. Think long & hard. Kids are a big deal. They CAN impact your life - positively or negatively. 😮😮😮

100% agree. Although not true for all egg quality surely diminishes with age. What we try so hard not to do in our 20’s can become impossible in our 30’s. I had cancer induced menopause in my 30’s.

My mom had me when she was 40 and she assumed she wouldn't get pregnant because of her age and because the doctors told her she couldn't have children and then I came along.
She had my older sister when she was young in her 20's, broke, struggling to get food on the table, and they were actually homeless multiple times.
So sure you can choose homelessness with a newborn in your 20's when you have little life experience or you could wait 10 years.

I had my kids in my late 20s (am 40 now) I couldnt imagine having a kid now bc although Im in shape, I do get tired easier and raising a kid is hard work! Plus, it's also sad to be an older parent and not be able to be able to live long enough to meet your grandkids etc

@@lotusgrl444 Someone has made the Mya comparison to me once before, we look like we could be related.
      Edit:
You don't have to wait until 40 you could wait until 35 and be ready the choice is for everyone to make for themselves.
I don't want people pushing their decision on others because it obviously won't work for everyone.
And my mom can meet her grandkids lol.
