- We made it to season 2 (3? Who knows!)!! All I know is I am so excited and hope you guys are too. We are going back to the same schedule, premiering these on RUclips at 12p PST Wednesdays and Fridays! Join us for the live chat. Timmy gets very into it. This season is going to be great! Whitney Eve launches. I remember a lot about that. And, Joe finally resolves things between Olivia and Erin. No, Olivia doesn't get fired, and Erin does not quit. Joe puts Olivia on camera on Elle.com, bringing her even more into Erin's world. Everything should go great.

What did you guys think of my first collection? Was I ready to launch, or should I have waited? Please respond gently, as I am a sensitive flower, not really comfortable putting myself out there, yet finding myself often in the spotlight.
I think putting out your collection at that time led you to where you are now- so it was perfect. And it looked incredible to me 👗 also you handle everything with such poise so you never seemed out of your depth
You did amazing your line was absolutely beautiful, I think sometimes the best work comes under pressure. Love you guys can't wait for the next episodes.
P.S. I watched all of the episodes when I was a teenager so it's so cool to rewatch with you guys commentating.

Everyone has had to have their first time putting their passion project into the public. For you to do it so, SO publicly and knowing you would be super scrutinized was brave and powerful af.
I think if you aren't sat here regretting it then you made the right choice.
I think Olivia was the realisation for Erin that no matter how hard you work, someone from a rich family and beautiful can just swoop in and be put in the same space as you. Without any real work done prior. Not to say Olivia doesn't work hard now but I doubt she worked her way up instead was placed there.

It looked like it was so hard for her to swallow her pride and say she thinks they can work together.. Erin wanted that bitch gone. But MTV is her boss now. Hahaha
I think anyone in Erin’s position would’ve felt the same. She probably worked her ass off to get where she is, and here comes miss beauty queen walking in like she makes all the rules and calls all the shots. She can’t even be bothered to take direction. You’d have to be crazy to NOT call her out.
As much as I love seeing Kelly Cutrone being a hard ass, I really love seeing her softer side. You can tell that she had a real respect and affection for you and your family. It’s nice to see a real friendship come from something that can be so manufactured and staged like reality TV.
I love Kelly! That softer side comes out a lot more in interviews. There's a few good ones on youtube that really go into her education and career. She's had a really fascinating life and truly marches to the beat of her own drum.
She's just freakin cool.
Is Whitney still friends with Kelly? I always wanted to know an update on if Whitney is still in touch with the rest of her friends from the show
@zackattack9772 I'm not surprised- I'm sure she had genuine affection for her but Kelly is more about the arts scene, socially. She used to be married to Andy Warhol's protege so she grew up in that New York art world. A very different culture from California. I figure she and Whitney just have seriously different interests that dont lead to a true adult female friendship. Once they had asked about each others kids and jobs I cant see them having much to talk about. I can see Kelly being a bit more brusque about this reality then Whitney, which led Whitney to think she had soured.
Absolutely agreed. I've watched "The City" a number of times and am always touched by how raw Kelly is here. Such a shame she and Whitney aren't in touch anymore. I feel from LA to NYC, they had so many years in fashion together. Whitney had the longest professional relationship with Kelly; people like Lauren just disappeared once their reality TV stints were over.

Okay, watching this series three years later, and less than one minute in…HOW CUTE ARE YOU GUYS!?! You actually dressed up for the finale, I love that.
I looove when Whitney just speaks her mind. “That was so… _not_ impressive!” about Olivia’s interview was so spot on. I think that one sentence like encapsulated Olivia’s whole presence on this show. Her privilege, name, looks, and money all got her a seat at the table- you know, all the qualities that she was handed and didn’t actually “deserve”
What kelly said at the end gave me tears and chills. About giving you that quiet moment to take it all in . For you to take a breath because it was all just the beginning. Kelly is a tough one but I think she always had good intentions with you Whitney. Sometimes you need that tough love to give you that little push

He was very successful in the clothing industry. I’m sure he knew all the players at the time. And I respect Whitney for really working and having talent. She didn’t just use her dad’s name.

Honestly, as cut throat that Kelly is, it probably felt like an honor to have such a great relationship with her. She really seemed to have your best interest at heart and seemed so supportive and proud of you about your line.

The Marc Jacobs bag you had at the beginning of the episode was the best! I owned the same one briefly and I remember the day this aired on TV and seeing you with it I screamed! I had sold it a couple days before the episode aired and I tried so hard to get it back or find another one. I was going to post a side by side on MySpace 😂 Getting rid of it is one of my biggest regrets! Lol

Whitney, I found your channel a few months ago and watched all the hills reaction videos because I grew up being in love with that show as a little girl, my mom has always loved fashion and that show gave me something to connect with her about and get me excited about something that she loves, and now I'm creating my own jewelry line! I just wanted to write and say that the scene with you and Kelly at the end of your fashion show gave me full body chills, she gave such great advice on trying to be in the moment when all your dreams are starting to become reality, that will definitely be one I remember. The relationship you two shared has always been so admirable to me, I can only hope to find such a bad ass role model like her one day!
P.S. Just one more thing I absolutely am loving seeing this raw version of you and Timmy, your relationship and communication style that you guys show us is adorable and full of real love. It is refreshing to see a genuine love, thank you for giving us a glimpse of it.
