Space museums are the best cos you can feel what things meant, other museums will just say, like - a bowl. And as for that breakfast; you can't get that at Tesco's ! ☔🏴☠️❤️,,,,.😏
Those replicas are really good for a smaller museum. I would definitely go there if I visit.

Liked the museum with the rockets and capsules. I live in Florida and try to get outside for each launch from the Space Center at Cape Canaveral. Its always exciting to see those rockets taking off.
Totally remember that fish market being way way more busy and with tons of people. Stopped in Kanazawa went to the fish market, visited the castle and the garden there. Its an awesome city, hope you guys get a chance to make a video about the city soon!
That space museum is freaking great. I'm more into astronomy than I am space travel, but anything space is freaking amazing to me and I love all of it. The elevator looks incredible. Definitely need to check this place out! Great video all around, thanks for the little break right as Ireland's gearing up to go into full lockdown again lol. This timeline is so damn weird.

I love sushi for breakfast even if it's crappy American supermarket takeout. I probably would be blown away by whatever you guys can get on a daily basis.

Driving on a beach is fun...it almost feels naughty! There's a beach called Black Rock Sands near Porthmadog in North Wales where you can do it. Go late in the day when most people have left, and it almost feels like you're in some kind of 1970s TV commercial for aftershave as you zoom around the sand seeing how close you can (safely) get to the water! 😁

God damnit... I'm 32and I've been watching you two for a few years.. and I am so jealous of your life. If there was a time machine I would go back in time and go left instead of right so I could do what you two are doing.
Just to be clear, we have a good life, but we also don't record and upload the boring and bum bits for the most part, so it's not all super wonderful at all times. I worry we give off a false impression of what our lives are like sometimes and it makes people compare what they have to this partial window into what we have. Hope that makes sense. -E

Kyde got chirashi! It is my default order at a new sushi place, as it really gives you an idea of their skills in both prep and plating. And you get a nice amount of sushi rice to determine how well they make it. And I feel it is usually the best value you can get.

Eric, I think you'd love something I ran across in my stuff last week. Many years ago, when in college, as an NROTC student, I got to go to a Navy League banquet. I ran across my program and it had to two autographs on it, I remember getting them but for some reason it didn't really register at the time. One of them was Alan Shepard!

Have you been to the Huntsville Space and Rocket Center? The rockets there are massive and it's worth the visit.
Never have been, but want to go! Been to the facilities in Florida a few times, however. -E

K & E, did you check out the Glass Art Museum on Notojima? It looks pretty interesting if one is in the area.
The Omicho Fishmarket is Japan, 〒920-0905 Ishikawa, Kanazawa, Kamiomicho, 5, (John Daub on Only in Japan Go did a video there about 4 months ago), The Space museum is Cosmo Isle Hakui, Japan, 〒925-0027 Ishikawa, Hakui, Tsurutamachi, Menda−２５. I didn't have enough information or context for the coaster making place or the curry lunch place.
ノドグロ is 喉黒. Means black throat. The fish you ate has a black throat. On the other hand, Noto hanto is 能登半島 in Japanese. So there is no relathionship between the fish and the peninsula.

Ahhhh! Kyde's domburi looks so delish!!!! Good choice, gurl! Nodoguro and Noto have no particular relationships, just happen to have very similar sounds. Nodoguro's name came from how its throat (nodo) looks. Inside of its mouth is black (kuro/guro) :)

The golden disks are meant to be a cosmic greeting card to intelligent life if one was ever to find it. Yet, the sounds recorded on the records is useless I think. You would need the proper atmospheric density and constituency such as Earth to accurately replicate the sounds let alone any aliens to hear in such frequencies.
The space proves were initially launched in 1977 because of a golden opportunity due to the planet alignments that allowed the space probe to image the planets close up.

PLEASE Eric, please buy a proper pair of supportive shoes and save the flip flops for a limited amount of time of wearing! As someone who has back pain myself from scoliosis and old sports injuries once I found some proper supportive shoes my back has been WAY better! Same for Kyde too, those sandals aren’t supportive when you guys walk as much as you do! You can not just damage your spine and posture but also your legs and feet apparently. You will have more issues as you get older. I am only a few year’s younger (86 bub) than you guys and have had many back issues for half my life until only two years ago.
Lovely video like always! Thank you for taking us on your travels around Japan while many of us are still in partial lockdown. I am in regional Victoria in Australia and we are hopefully reopening our state borders and all of Melbourne CBD by Christmas as their cases are in very low single digits now! No numbers for majority of regional VIC for nearly six weeks apart from a truck driver that wasn’t told to self isolate and he traveled for work to Shepparton and 100 people had to go into quarantine.
Haha, I actually wear shoes a lot more than I get credit for, especially the last couple years. The flipflops typically come out when I'm not walking around much or it's raining.

I have been watching your channel for few years but I failed to understand your point of making such long videos as you only scratch the surface of the areas, mainly artificial and kitch side of the places. Maybe some people ( the viewers of the channel) appreciate the shallowness.
