    i am literally repairing a yamaha psr-5700 rn about no sound at all, after repairing that part i found that now there is around 12 keys on the left side and around 9 keys on the right side not working , so what i did is that i remove the keys and there was a kinda rubber behind it. i clean it and that it, it was wroking fine now

    at 11:48 the diagram shows the LCD pin 15 is connected to PA9 yet in the yet you say pin 3 is connected to PA9 when it should be PB1. I am pretty confident this is a mistake.

    This is low level embedded explained perfectly!!! What books or materials explain embedded at this level if i want to learn more?

    Great explanation but I am confused about biasing. There is 1/2 bias, 1/4 etc, which one one goes for and does it really mean (in waveform etc). Can you please reply?

    very good the tutorial helped me a lot. however I can't finish getting the lcd working. I load the data into RAM, activate the UDR and turn on the LCDEN, and still no image appears. I am using a STM32L152RTC6, what else can I do?

      Any segment shows up at all? If none, I would focus on LCD settings. If some, I would focus on GPIO settings of each pin.
