Know this before you call yourself noble for that idea, (which is not yours), of fanatic inclusiveness for the lesser of man. There is no shortage if new ideas to try (we might be surprise at how many are not new, but old and failed, presented with a new face lift, like communism), and it can be hard to tell if it is a good idea or not, especially to understand the probable results of our future. So I developed this test for a new idea. Every idea has a premise, (comes from somewhere, some philosophy), so if we take that idea to "its own extreme", (in this case, we only interview the guys who did not make the main event, to be inclusive), we can get a really good idea,---if it is a good or bad idea. IMO, anytime we don't focus on the greatness of man, that is responsible for motivating the rest of us to achieve, we do us all a disservice.
My first race was in 84, 250 class. I practice starts a lot and made sure I got really good at starts before my first race, and not enough time gaining speed around the rest of the track. :) A local racer of experience (who still races today) gave me some advise before I went to the starting line; "If you hear somebody trying to pass you, don't move over because you might move into his way and go down. Just hold your line and race. If he is faster, he has to pass you." Good thing I listened, and nobody collided with me. I was 3rd out of the 1st corner and lost about 20 spots. lol
It was neat that Honda copied it for production for a year or two, but that is just the skin of what racers did back then for Japanese bike development. Almost all the good ideas for MX racing, came from racers like the Jones family. This was at the time that Japanese manufacturing had become the best in the world, (not sure if it still is based on the totally unacceptable twist of the older 2014 OEM YZ fenders.). My 95lb buddy has the 1973 250 Elsinore, ("hand me down" from an older brother around 1980). 3rd gear holes shots on grass, the thing with his light butt on it was a rocket rototiller with no shifting for 70 yards. :)
Its almost as if Weege is trying to talk himself into this not being a mud race. Forecast says otherwise. It definitely won't be as wet as San Fran but its gonna be slippery out there.
Everybody gets a trophy today man. Soon, there will be interview shows with guys who did not make the main event. Who will cheer for them? The winners of our society, or the losers? :)
Shoutout to Bubba Pauli. Guy speaks truth. If I’m the IceMan Vince Friese and I holeshot , I’ll clean anybody out who gets close to me. Hope his team get the support they deserve, those bikes look like heaven
weegee says "hard pack dirt can take a lot of rain before it impacts it." A little rain can make "hard pack", (which is usually clay based), very slick, like oil on wood. Now how do I know this guy has not ridden much? He talks. :)

Wait a minute! The Christian religion is not dead in MX! 10:46 I see the sponsorship at the very bottom on his jersey, but for some reason, we have not heard a top rider thank God on the podium since soon after NBC took over the broadcast. No, I don't go to church. I just don't ignore sensitive things, (to some), that are in plain sight. NBC has to go. I know that.
@@frankweathersbee2553 I agree but go back and watch the footage Anderson braked reel hard over that little double which caused Coop to go over the bars but it’s already past
Why don’t you cover the dangers of small narrow tracks? In these tiny stadiums!! Now Jett’s injured maybe it’s a wake up call or does Feld need a death to make a change? . What about getting rid of tough blocks?! Cover that! Do a story about getting this sport into larger stadiums. Stadiums in Europe that can hold way more fans and makes it a real world event. More fans, more world exposure is more money for riders and they get to travel and see the world. These tiny stadiums are an embarrassment to the sport !

Weird. Being "down to Earth" may be pretty true,---but with a "Boy Band" hair cut?

Loved it too, I had a 93 yz80, but in 2000. Raced it for several years.
Excellent show. Fantastic filling in the answers to the questions for many of the riders, especially the guys outside of the top 7 or 8.

Bubba Pauli is a mix between weege and Ryan dungey.
Sending prayers to Jett Lawrence. That was a rough case.
@mekg2439 he cased a jump, went over the bars. He's okay from what I read. Just jammed his thumb pretty good
