They attacked a senior in a wheelchair, wow, the lowest of the low. 😡
I've seen the cops do that before in NY. Guy was a quadriplegic waiting at a bus stop. Police flipped him outta the wheelchair, dumping him into the side of a snowbank and beat the crap outta the guy. Was a long time back now, but there's actually short cellphone clips of it on RUclips. Happened on Jefferson Ave in Roc, NY.

Had the exact same problems here in Toronto for over fifty years involving young black males.
Initially they were Jamaican but more recently gangs with African blacks have taken over.

Holding Parents accountable is not the answer - most are hardworking individuals that have no idea what their kids are doing behind their backs.
In my opinion, this growing problem is very simple to solutionize. For starters, let's get rid of The ACS System and give parents back their rights to discipline their own children.

Commit a crime and underage then, place them in a residential. And for those that have reached legal age, move the case forward to process them as an Adult.

I grew up in the hood, on sec 8 & welfare with a single mother who work 2 jobs and 3 siblings. My mother had a philosophy. "I rather my children fear and respect me than do whatever the duck they want and possibly end up dead and in jail." Guess what, me and my siblings. We ain't saints, but we've never been in serious trouble. Never dreamed of being disrespectful to someone older, and all 3 of us made something of ourselves and have successful careers. Even my son whos about to turn 18 and I had young myself. Is a respectful kid and never been in trouble. And I used my moms same philosophy.

Enforce curfews, penalize the parents with fines and criminal charges, take away their driving privileges, mandatory court ordered parenting classes for young and older parents, if fines aren’t paid and adhered to arrest them at home, school work just like they do men who owe child support- I’d bet then they’ll get off there axes and hunt down their kids to prevent being penalized- and bring in the National Guards that will clean up the streets for sure 👿

It's terrible that one of the major motivators for me taking summer classes is so that I have an excuse not to be here temporarily. I'm from Brooklyn but after the military I realized the importance of being able to have a fire arm to defend yourself respectfully... but the gun laws in NYC wont allow you to conceal carry 'unless your basically law enforcement.
