I think you might be the first to do a review on the full size frame with SX slide. I have a G19 Gen 5 and a G47. I also have a dagger compact. Not sure if I wanna get the SX frame. I have spacers for the compact to fit G17 mags and it feels good. Just gotta get the SX slide. I have a oem Glock trigger in my dagger and I honestly enjoy shooting the dagger over the glock! It just feels better in the hand. Thanks for sharing.
@@MagDumpGuns it’s just those rolls pins that a pain. PSA used to sell daggers without a trigger group and I had to purchase the roll pins. I have a dagger connector and the trigger is very light. The Glock trigger shoes is just familiar, but the pull is still a bit different.

Nice review. I've got a compact and full size. I didn't know the SX slide existed! I guess I'll be getting one of those as well. The compact frame fits my hand better than the G19 but it's still a little cramped. I love the full size frame. I prefer it over the frame on my 19X. It might be tied with the frame on the XR920. I think the 1000 round action job does wonders with smoothing out these guns. Thanks for the heads up on the new slide.
Currently playing mix and match with 3 compact and 1 Full S Dagger frames with various compact slides. Different colors and threaded/non-threaded barrels. I just ordered an FDE Compact X slide. My favorite configuration so far is that S frame and compact slide, essentially a Gen 3 Glock 45 clone. Full size grip is more comfortable, and Compact slide is more comfortable to carry. Anxious to see how I'll like the X slide. Currently the G45 configuration is my nightstand pistol and I do carry it.
I believe it is also cheaper to buy the frame and the slide separately because there’s an extra fee associated with complete firearms. Which is why it’s also cheaper to buy a complete upper and a lower for an AR15 rather than the complete gun. Appreciate this review though brother. I’ve never really been into compact sized guns either. Don’t see the point of them when things like the g48/p365xl/shield plus exist. Id just rather go smaller or bigger than a compact. Similarly to you I recently saw they were selling full size frames and that finally got me interested so I picked one up. Plan to buy the full slide assembly later and put it together. Appreciate being able to get a good look at it from your video. There’s not many other videos on this version of the dagger out there.
Yeah thinking about it I think complete handguns require handgun safety paperwork and more hoops to jump through for the manufacturer on the regulatory side. Hope you enjoy your Dagger!
Depends on brand/type of holster due to the styling of the dagger slide. It worked fine in my safariland holsters, maybe a bit more snug than the Glock.

I think an OEM trigger would do wonders for this. Might have to give it a try!

Just assembled my first Dagger S. Replaced Trigger and installed magwell. Got to Love the Dagger. Did not ever know this frame was out. Awesome Vid!!

I own both of the PSA Daggers the full size and a compact and I like them a lot the compact I carry on me everyday
Dagger is my favorite pistol. I have two safes full of pistols. PSA dagger is such a loyal gun.

@@danterich3170 incorrect. The full size slide fits this one as well. That’s what your looking at in the video.
No In the world glocks it would not fit any 17 frame but the psa frame has a compact slide length frame and a full size grip such as the Glock 45
So yes it will fit a 45,19,23,32,and possibly a Glock 47 but none of the actual full size handguns such as the Glock 17, or 22
And jus to make it easier to understand you see how it uses a 19 guide rod and not a 17 length?

Doesn't look like you can get only the SX slides anymore. Only complete as a pistol.

Most people aren't too dying compact guns they carry them .. Witch isn't fun with a 17 round gun that 4.8-5 inchs
