This is actually an amazing concept that I never would have thought of! I have the entire run of GI Joe figures from 81 to 92 that I have not had a real good storage solution. This may work quite well for that. Not to mention my Star wars figures. As always, thank you so much for it. Awesome and informative video!
Dude, you are the man!!!!!!!!!!. I switched up my display a few months ago and stored my toys in zip-lock bags inside of a bin. When I went to look for them, I took them out. Some of my X-Men legs were warped. (I was mad but sad more than anything.) Anyway, they have this at Michael's. Buying some now. Thanks, dude.
OMG!! Thank you! Thank you!!! You just saved me a huge headache & took my worries of losing the accessories away!! We now have a Michaels too! I'm going to go get some of these. Again, I can't say 'THANK YOU' enough!
I think this is great! I’ve been wanting to scale back my display or maybe change it up and this would be a great way to store the figures I’m giving a break.
Just bought 3 of these online for $12.99 each!! This will be a great option now to store my MMPR lightening figures when I am ready to display them. Thank you for the informative video.
Greg, I loved your video man. Because of my work on RUclips most part of my action figures are the same way of yours. I can't display them because I'm always revisiting some on the videos. I use ziploc too but your solution is cool! Thanks dude! Best regards!
This is incredible! Right now I have NO idea where alot of my figures are! I'm in the process of decluttering, but I really need a place for my figures and the accessories! I will be looking for sales and coupons at my local Micheals! Thank you so much for sharing your valuable knowledge and helping us to enjoy the hobby!😅
I use that same style tote for my 3.75 inch figs..it looks a little tight for 6” for me..what I use a lot of as well to keep it all together is Plano tackle organizers for figures..you can get deep or shallow ones & put 3.75” or 6” figs.on them.I can make a trooper one,Jedi one,Mandalorian one, ect.& organize them that way.👍
i love this idea and will be jumping on these ,,i needed a better storage than ziplock bags in totes ,,i need this fix ,,thanks for looking out brother
Been using these for years as weapon/accessory storage, love em. Never thought to store whole figs in them, that's rad. I'm thinking most legends would fit, as would most Classified. They go on sale every few months.
Hey Greg! Thanks so much for the tip on this case. I checked out Michael's. Looks like this one could also be an option, and it looks like it will fit most McFarlane figures as well! (Clear Stacking Pencil Box by Simply Tidy 8.24" x 3.74" x 1.57" $1.99ea) They also have a 12" x 12" case that is actually 14.1" x 14.3" x 3.1" which could also work for multiples or the larger McFarlane figures. Thanks again for looking out. Always remember, clean storage solutions refresh your soul, and keep a happy home. LOL we will see you next time!
I use the Serilite 3 drawer storage bins, and I layer each row of figures with bubble wrap and all of my weapons are in a separate storage bin but I will have to pickup a few of these cause my weapons aren't with the figure and I have to find them everytime I change my displays
This is a great video, and a very creative solution. I'd like to do the same, but my vintage motu and motu origins and wwemotu are all too thick to use this idea. Again, this is a great idea.
Thats really feaking cool!! Will have to let us know if theres a solution like this for 3 3/4 figures! Thats one I need help with! Thank you again for sharing
I picked up 2 of these. I put all my accessories, heads, hands, wearables and guns for all 5 lines I collect. I use plastic pencil cases for figures. they are stackable and easier to organize than rummaging through boxes of bagged figures. Great info Greg.
Impressive...most impressive! New subscriber earned. I love how practical plastic Tupperware can be for toys and boarded comics! Use enough storage; a Toy Hunter's mentality.
Holy crap! I just bought seven of these. I saw these on sale at a Michael’s and wondered if this worked. It worked great! I just stumbled across this video! It looks like great minds think alike! Now, question. I have a few figures that are thicker than the case. The box is bowing over the parts. I still stored them that way. Are you attempting that as well? I have Star Wars and GI Joe. I need to get more for my Marvel Legends. Not if I can just come up with a solution for Transformers.
Fascinating idea 💡 when you're in Michael's don't forget to use your daily coupon for more savings, but if said items are already on clearance or on sale that week, it won't apply
that is really great!! If you have a label maker you can print a label for the edge of each case to make it easier to find the troopers you are looking for
I also use these and love them. Glad more people know about them. What I have been on the hunt though for is something similar for 7” figures like mcfarlane. If you or anyone else knows of anything please let me know
that is a pretty perfect solution🍺 I was thinking about legends but I got too many bigger figs that wouldn't fit.. but if you pulled a few trays out you could put the bafs in loose🤔 u gotta look into these bins🍻
Hey Greg, I have the same type of containers from Michaels but made by Iris USA (acid free) for a couple of years now for my photos and they started to break down - got sticky with a white film when handling them. Had to take out my photos to be safe. Just FYI…
I did the ziplock bags as a kid with power of the force figures. If you had the 3.75/inch you could fit in 4 figures in each. The little boxes look like the plastic vhs tape containers. If had those old vhs containers could reuse for this purpose.
I found some at Ross for 15 bux also. I put my extra gijoes in them. 5 fit. Lose ...great idea and yes. Only if you get them Alford 15 bux. Great to cry to a convention for trades or sales
I’ve been doing this for years. I posted photos in many groups , and couldn’t believe the negative feedback. People saying how this will ruin your figures to which I reply… their toys… but I have been using the system and I’m not sure a better way . For larger figures, I buy ammo boxes. $15 ammo box at Walmart , sealed. I use those for gijoe classified .
@@gbjanuary idk, people think the plastic on plastic I guess will eventually hurt the figures somehow? But these photos storage cases are acid free, and are made to preserve photos. So I don’t see any harm in it. I’ve found that the tape storage cases are even better.

These are great. May hit up my local Michaels in the next couple days to see if I can find them at that price. Doing ziplocks in a tote is great, but I agree it’s a pain if you wanna find a specific figure and have to dig through dozens to find it. Thanks for the video!
Great idea! This morning I immediately called my local Michael's and put two on hold. I do 1:1.8 military, Black Series, and HALO. Now I have a space for everyone except the big Spartans. For a couple of years, I have been using the small tackle boxes for the extras that come with figures. Any hints on where to look for( Black Series and HALO) in the Knoxville area? That's an awesome idea I've gotta do some work to my stuff I'm running outta room and your not a true collector if u don't have a zip lock tote even my gf has a Disney tote
Great info! I saw these at Micheal's last year and almost grabbed them form my 1/6th figure accessories, but ended up going with a workshop drawer-style solution as most accessories aren't that big. The 6-7 inch figures fit perfectly in these though. Once you get to about 40 figures, the zip-lock bag solution doesn't work as well anymore.
Looks better than what I do. I have all my 6 inch Star Wars figures in a plastic grocery bag and their accessories in a sandwich bag. All my 3.75 inch Star Wars figures are in a plastic container with their accessories in a sandwich bag. When I’m looking for certain figures, I’m doing a lot of digging.
Great video but was wondering since it's been almost 2 years since this has been uploaded, has there been any defects to the figures? Paint or anything? Since the storage bin is plastic as well I was wondering if there was any defects from plastic on plastic? I'm trying to figure out the best way to store figures for a long period of time and this could be it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I usually like displaying my figures but since I don't have room to do it all the time, I can only store them in totes without plastic bags, but I definitely would love to do this with some of the figures I own because I hate having figures crushing each other and rubbing against each other!

Excellent solution for loose figure storage. I just ordered some and Michael’s have them now $12.99. I appreciate Your content and sharing
Outside of the massive amount of figs I first noticed the Brian Shaw tee👍🏼🤙🏼😀
