    They finally got a unit in your hands, nice! There's no other power bank like it on the market and honestly it's the only power bank I can carry with me even when not using a bag. About the price it really is pricey, but if you can snag one used off Amazon they go for the same price as Anker ones. That's how I bought one, else I would've not.

    This is why thru hikers/ backpackers use nitecore battery packs, because they’re much lighter.

    I'm sorry but $65 is highway robbery for a 38Wh power bank that can only do 20W. I'd rather buy a 200g 38Wh power bank for $20.

    • @TheStopwatchGod
      @TheStopwatchGod 24 дня назад +2

      Suit yourself. There are people who value the smaller size and will pay a premium for it, hence the existence of this powerbank

    • @adriftatlas
      @adriftatlas 24 дня назад +1

      @@TheStopwatchGod Oh, I'm sure there is a market for it. But claiming it's "a little expensive" is disingenuous when it costs three times more than a slightly bulkier one.

    • @NL0Gwenster
      @NL0Gwenster 24 дня назад

      @@adriftatlas Nitecore products are ultra-optimized for size & weight, that's what you you pay for. This battery's originally designed for trail running. They're also ideal for anyone spending extended time on the move, like cyclists on long journeys. A friend of mine cycled from South Japan to Tokyo over 6 months, where every gram counted. As a person that usually walks 30K steps a day on outdoor vacations. I personally understand the need for lightweight gear; especially after a shoulder injury that lasted for 9 months. After that I invested in ultra-light, weather-resistant gear to minimize the load after my shoulder re-hab. To make sure i never overload it again. So yeah, it's like saying "Apple is a little expensive" cause you can get a working smartphone for 1/4th the price. Sure. But people buying Apple buy it for a reason and the price just comes with the territory; same with Nitecore.

    I bought 2 of samsung's older 10,000 mah powerbanks (with wireless charging) from ebay. $25 and $40. What a freaking game changer! It can super fast charge our samsung phones at 25w, and wirelessly charge my watch (not at the same time though). (EB-U3300).
    You have the newer samsung wireless charging powerbank if I remember. Is this new one smaller than the new beige samsung 10k mah powerbank?
