Sell covered calls on hold when it makes sense. My TSLA appears to be in the negative at face value except the fact it's turning 4% return a month.
@@boonwolf9266yeah hard NO on selling covered calls.. let me tell about the 1,000 TSLA I owned in 2013, average cost $83.. sold 10 covered call contracts for a while, until they were called away at $210. Hey, it was still nearly a triple, right? short term thinking.. those 1,000 shares after the 5 to 1, 3 to 1 splits would be 15,000 today, even at todays prices, it is life changing $$$, so yeah, hard no on covered calls, TSLA is too volatile in BOTH directions.. miss the 10 best trading days in a 20 year timeframe makes a vast dfference in performance
