Driving Range Golf Drills & Tips. We all should be Practicing with a Purpose. This video will be extremely helpful if you are new to golf and intimated to go practice on your own. If you have any questions leave them in the comment below. Part 2 will be coming soon!
This attitude helps improve for sure. What really matters is knowing that missing but missing closer to a tiger is MUCH more fun than just missing.. Thankyou
Love you for making this! I get really nervous trying new things by myself. I'm currently trying to psych myself up to check out my local driving range for the first time tonight; watching you walk thru and explain everything makes it feel less nerve-wracking! :)
Practicing with a purpose. oops. Ill stretch and swing to loosen up but a lot of times i just hit balls just to hit balls. Great advice on imagining a fairway.
Thank you Coach! I truly appreciate you giving focus. I practice on Monday, but was not focused on based on the information you provided. I hurt my shoulder because I failed to warm and be intentional with purpose. This video was definitely helpful
Hi, very cute, I need some classes from someone like you with a soft sounding, gentle coaxing voice. Much love. 💙 I am learning the tees ok, but the rough hitting is at zero. lol
Thank you so much, particularly for the warmup exercises which are less easy to find. Most golfers that I see don’t seem to bother but I really feel Its necessary to stretch out, particularly at my age! ☺️😉👍
My first time back in the range since before the Pandemic and I’m now nursing a blister on my right thumb and all my fingers are sore, probably from strangling the grips too hard. Thanks for the vid, coach! Slowly gaining back my love for this sport.
Thank you for posting! You reminded me of teaching my daughter to play. We're in the country with room to hit balls, just her, me and the horses. She was able to strike the ball well for a beginner, but the first time we went to the practice tee with people around she was nervous and very concerned with what others thought of her. I was surprised by that. I knew that she would be a bit uncomfortable, but I could tell her experience was similar to yours and she was embarrassed that she couldn't strike the ball as well as she thought she would. Thanks for the memory. You did great given the amount of pressure you put on yourself, hang in there. I feel i would be remiss if I didn't mention the tip about looking behind the ball. The clubhead swings in an arc that has a low point. Intuitively most folks try to strike the ball at the low point, that will work for a 3 wood or driver but not a 7 iron. The low point of the clubhead arc should be at least 3 or 4 inches in front of the ball for a 7 iron. So IMO moving the low point to behind the ball for a 7 iron is generally bad advice. I mean no disrespect to the lady who offered the tip, but that may have been given to her to correct some swing fault that she has.
Love your teachings and am really interested in playing golf now here in Africa.Am in Zimbabwe.Keep on teaching my dear you touching hearts of many.God bless you Chris
This video is awesome like all of the other ones you have made that I have seen it is very helpful. You explain things so simply. I’m definitly more confident with my approach. Also 2 things that Arsenal head over is awesome and you’re trainers too, what brand are they? Thanks x
This helps a lot. I’ve always been intimidated at top golf which we have here in Houston. Will definitely keep these tips in mind before going next time.
Great point about top golf. I will be releasing a video in the next few weeks about a hand shake 🤝 and how you can use that analogy to remember how to swing the golf club. Keep an 👀 out.
Hi I love the way you present your golf. You are both a professional teacher and entertaining at the same time. I do have a question: I played golf for 5 years and managed to play reasonably well.. Then i got in to an accident and stopped playing golf. Now after 10 years I have decided to start playing again. What do you recommend I should do? Taking lessons all over again or just go out on the driving range and start hitting balls? Cheers from the Netherlands, Erik
Sorry to hear about your accident but very happy that you are taking it back up. I would recommend lessons only because you may have some mobility restrictions and also its great to get a professional to guide you on the right track so that way you don´t create bad habits early one.
Laughed at your plea to not be that person who just smashes the driver without warmup. I tried my ha d at a golfing range for the first time ever last week and all I was given at the range was a driver! I've since bought a full set of clubs and can't wait to try out the other, more sensible clubs
@@CoachShayain first time at the range with my own clubs and had lots of success with consistently straight shots down the fairway with my irons. Amazing what some RUclips videos can do for a beginner. Thanks coach!
Coach, next time try the simmons theory, place the ball tray behind you. Rake or place each ball one at a time to a position in front of your. This is what you will see on the T box and fairway. Take the anxiety of multiple balls out of your vision of sight. This will improve any players tempo and rhythm no manner what their level of experience. Now have fun with your lower scores
Coach Shayain - love your videos! I'm a beginner who gets after it at least 2 or 3 times a week. I have a PGA Pro Golf Instructor, & I have a home net system to work on hitting balls. The one question I have is once I'm done with my golf lessons, what should me golf training schedule look like?
Just bought some clubs online, went to my driving range, big bucket of balls,so 5-6,poor shots.. The rest of solid, but I'd like to learn to hook, slice the ball.. Can you help me there? I love all the videos,I've seen..
I do no unfortunately. It would be helpful to find out where in India you are located to see what coaches are near year. Direct Message me on Instagram or Facebook
It was going soooooo well until that headcover and towel came into view 😂 Choke around the same time next year 😂 Gotta say though cracking drumsticks 🍗🍗 And that's where I parked the 🚗
So, what not to do...hit driver after driver, not warming up, no purpose in mind...I didn't see her watching me at the range yesterday, but I don't think it's a coincidence...this point by point description of my range "work out" methodology. What recourse do I have, legally...or is this begging some kind of social media remedy?
"You can wear anything at the driving range". How about wearing the shoes you play golf in, instead of cross trainers? I play in spike-less golf shoes.

I'm a returning golfer headed to the range tomorrow and this was So helpful! Can't believe how much I have forgotten.

OMG You are so friendly and informative at the same time. It's like getting golf tips from a friend! Thanks, Coach!

Sorry I am seeing this so late. I would love to know how your first experience at the driving range went. Also what part of the world do you live in?
Practice with a purpose! Wish I'd learnt that earlier when I was a beginner...
Right!! Same here but I’m happy to share the knowledge now with other who are just starting to learn the game.

We have all been there Jon, myself included. Happy you enjoyed the fairway comparison.

Your instruction style is awesome and clear. Thank you
Best golf advice I’ve ever received. Thank you so much Coach Shayain.

Thank you for the tips this really helped me!! Keep up the great work!!!
I just started playing last week and didn't do proper stretching. Trust me. Stretching is super important. Oh, my back.
Sure is. Sorry about your back but hope you will be stretching from now :)

I always forget to stretch before hitting balls at the range. Going to stretch before the driving range tomorrow for sure.
Love to hear it! Let me know how you get on with your range session.
Are teaching golf or life skills? 🤔.....😆
Thanks for the tips... 👍

can you rent a driver at that driving range (savage creek)?
Great question. I’m not sure but give them a call they are really kind and helpful.

Why is there a car on the driving range?
You are attractive
You lost me at Mask
Yeah the mask rules were ridiculous 😒
U know, now, the harm masks did to our ovetall well being I hope. Clipping the first part of the video is recommended.
That was my reality 4 years ago along with other Canadians so I think people will understand and have grace
Stick to golf and leave the masks!
Awesome
