Aim & Alignment is the second video in the 4 part GAPS Series. At Setup/Address before you hit the ball where you aim can help your ball stay out of the bunker, water or trees. Watch today´s video on tip and tricks on Aim and Alignment.
Awesome to see a woman coaching on golf! I absolutely love that you said to take a breath and go one video at a time, because I find golf so hard. Thank you!
Absolutely Debbie the game can be overwhelming. It is important for me as a coach to remind new golfers to breath and one video at a time. It can be information overload. If you have any questions moving forward please don´t hesitate to ask. I also host lots of free women´s clinics so depends where you live there could be a one near your :)
Thank you so much for the kind words. 50 is just a number proud of you for taking up a challenging sport at any age. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
It is my absolute pleasure. If you any other questions let me know. If there are specific videos that you would like to see as a beginner golfer, let me know. I am open to suggestions.
Hi Coach Shayain! So very helpful. I am totally a beginner golfer and trying to learn everything! You have become my go--to channel for information whenever a question pops up in my head! Thank you so much for everything! Will definitely keep watching!
Havent even had my clubs for a week yet. So I am suoer bew. Been 2 times to the driving range. I have been binge watching all of your videos! Hope to learn more!
So many great tips, thank you so much. Im binging your vids and will most likely be watching them over and over. Many thanks. Its great to have a woman of my own height teaching this, I find it more believable that I can also learn to golf successfully! 😻
The only reason I am watching slowly all your videos to help me understand this mysterious game of golf as hours and hours of live broadcasting time are devoted to the game without a clue what the excitement of the game is all about. However, after watching a few of your videos, I am beginning to understand the finer points of the game. I now know what a par, a bogey or a birdie means. I've never been anywhere near a golf course in my life, or will ever will. Thank you for your patient explanations. I hope watching golf on my tv will be the same again.
@@CoachShayain In my last response, I should have added, learn how to interpret those scores flashed on the tv screen with figs like -7 68, E 4.12? Etc. (One day I'll drive up to a club house and ask an expert player what they mean after I've screen-shot a few scores on my iPhone. Thank you.
I do club first, then trail foot. If you find that you are open try it the way I do it. Second option is club down first then close both your feet in front of your ball so you are at neutral and then open your feet evenly. Let me know how you get on.
Sometimes it’s EXTREMELY difficult to find the videos when there are a short series. The three part series is a pain to find because you can’t see the words “part” until after clicking on the video. And you titled all three videos with a different title. And the links don’t always seem to take me to the correct videos
If you are not a beginner golfer and have a handicap definitely aim for the hole. In most golf courses the holes are not always in the middle of the green and instead behind a bunker or water to the left or right. If you aim for the middle of the green it is the safest place to aim. I hope that helps.

Downloaded GAPS from your site. Really helpful, thank you for that!
OH GREAT!!! I hope the document helps you and make sure to put it in your golf bag as a reminder when you are stressed on the course.

Great video! I had no idea about the Tee Box, I always thought it was aiming me in the right direction. Great tip!
Don´t get fooled by the tee box :) Some courses can be sneaky and have you facing the hazard. Happy it helped.
Thank you so much, im a beginning golfer and sometimes my friends don't explained it so well.

Make a video about wedges
Hi, I have been having trouble reading greens. Do you have an easy way to plum bob or other quick system to read greens. Thank you, Paul

How about if you flare your feet for increased hip rotation? How them would you align your feet up to shoulders?
Hey coach I saw your golf bag in a previous video and it looks awesome. What kind of ogio bag is it ?
I have a hard time getting the golf ball off the ground. It seems to roll a lot instead of getting in the air.
Looks like you judge the setup off your trail foot pointing at ball then adjust from there. I use my left foot and i feel like i get too open.

Why not aim directly to the hole?
