Dr. Devdutt Pattanaik an Indian author known for fictional work and interpretations of ancient Indian scriptures. He is the author of 41 books and over 1000 columns, with bestsellers such as My Gita, Jaya, Sita, Business Sutra and the 7 Secret Series. He was a speaker at TEDIndia 2009 and spoke on Myths that Mystify, East versus West. His TV shows include Business Sutra on CNBC-TV18 and Devlok on Epic TV. He consults organisations on culture, diversity and leadership and also consults various television channels and filmmakers on storytelling.

The epics - Mahabharata and Ramayana teaches:
1. There is no such thing as justice, right and wrong.
2. There is only action and reaction.
"whatever you do, you will pay the price for it"...karma is about consequences rather than judgement (30:40) . . . "dharma is very different from ahimsa" (53:20)… "dharma is helping the helpless, even if it means breaking the law" (58:40) . . . "a good poet can never live in the kings court" (1:03:10).
