Hi Carolina, I have a black cardigan that looks just like your brown one. I think i will try it will all those looks with skirts that I also have, mostly in black, grey and plaid navy. I love this type of video that gives you different looks with the same item. Have you ever tried to wear those classic 40's trousers a la Lauren Bacall or Katherine Hepburn? They are high waisted and pleated at the front and look very chic but practical. That would be a fabulous 40's look for you. The wider leg drapes nicely and has movement, like a skirt would. Just check out one of those old black and white movies with those actresses in them. Eg; Philadelphia story.
The black cardigan would work nicely with grey ! or if that blue plaid skirt has a bit of black. I've tried on 1940s pants before but I just don't like wearing pants, even if they are from the time period. I wear shorts on casual summer days but I'm more more comfortable in skirts and dresses. I just don't like pants in general even in old photographs, I always think a skirt/dress looks better. But everyone has different taste.
I always watch vintage style videos green with envy - being plus size with a very limited budget in northern Sweden makes it so hard to find vintage clothes. But today I was so excited to watch your video - I have a brown vintage wool cardigan (and a dark blue too)! It actually look very much like yours, so you really made my day today! ^_^
I really like this styling video and the way you described all the choices for skirts, dresses, pants, and accessories to go with the cardigan. Each outfit was stunning. I think the first with the green plaid skirt was my favorite.
Super outfits, styled beautifully. I dont wear pants either! I dont own any jeans at all. I have always preferred dresses since childhood whereas my sister used to refuse to wear them and only wore pants!! Sending warm regards from the Yarra Valley, Australia where the temperature is hot.

I struggle with regular cardigans and long skirts (This one is cropped and more fitted at the waist). However if you have a regular cardigan it looks great draped over your shoulders or tucked in. Also hair and accessories make a huge difference. Look at as much inspiration as you can and pay attention to the lines and fit of the clothing (This is something I'm still doing.) Dressing like a different decade takes a bit of trial and error and research. Find what lines/fit work the best for you. Once you learn that, you can find some vintage inspired pieces, Or even invest in some staple true vintage pieces. I hope that helps ! Don't worry I'm still learning myself ! haha If you go back on my channel you'll see some questionable choices haha

The brand is Croscil, They used to sell them at bed bath and beyond, The Bay and Home Outfitters (2 of those stores went out of business) I didn't even think the bedding brand was around anymore, but it is according to their website. They don't make this particular bedding anymore tho, I got this one YEARS ago. My big Euro pillows are from Bombay (which also went out of business). The cream cushions were my grandmothers and in the centre is my Christmas cushion from Villroy and boch

I have a modern brown cardigan and it just doesn't please me that much.😩 It doesn't fit as nicely as your vintage one. Why don't modern clothes fit as nice? Ugh. I have tried pairing it with vintage skirts..just not the same.
I actually don't think this cardigan is vintage ! I thrifted it and it doesn't have a label. Emmy designs has some beautiful vintage inspired brown cardigans, I have them linked in the description of this video 😊
