We as Christians have a tendency to make faith about imaginary mechanics. “I do this and then I do that and then God will do this and then this will happen!” And when we don’t see the results in life we expected, we feel defeated and wonder if we just didn’t do enough of the right things! But the message in John 15 is that faith is not mechanical it’s organic, it’s alive it’s relational and I think sometimes in the imaginary mechanics of religion we have a tendency to over complicate the Christian life. In the message of John 15 it’s simple, it’s simply to stay connected to Jesus!” This is great!!
