- This is a techno remix, of the Theme song to Speed Racer. Alpha Team is the group that made this. There has been confusion on who actually made this song, it turns out it was ALPHA TEAM. I tried my best with my timing an stuff. WATCH!

A DJ friend of mine played this for me back in the 90s. Thankfully, since I was already sitting on the carpet, I couldn't fall anyplace. My childhood memories are tainted, but it was worth the hearty laugh.
I remember this being played at Excalibers downtown Chicago with Speed racer videos across all the TV screens and dancing on boxes in the middle of the dance floor pullin women up with us lol.....awesome
The REAL club kids heard it at Medusa's Dow by Wrigley field!

This real creators of this song are Dj attack & Bad Boy Bill out Chicago. It was born out of a small indie record store (now gone) called The Hip House. That got them a buncha $ then they started the label Underground Construction.

Used to play this on tape alot in the early 90s, for some reason it just popped into my head and I played it for the husband. "Oh sure I've heard this song", yeah, no you didn't. At the end, the look on his face, priceless.

my father has always been a fan of the anime since I was a child, when I was a child this was passed on to me too, had a DVD at the time with 3 episodes this in mid-2008, watched practically every day, this song was glued to my head, suddenly yesterday I remembered this song and was looking for about 10 minutes, the nostalgia that hit now has nothing to pay
I remember this. I have the CD single. It has three versions on it. On the back sleeve they give shout out to Bad Boy Bill for being the first to play it September 1992.
When I was a kid, a local Kmart had a video kiosk that would play previews or whatever you selected. The Speed Racer selection played this exact song, dirty bits and all, laid over clips from the cartoon. My brother and I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I'd like to think it was on purpose rather than someone's oversight. I've been looking for this for years, mostly to be sure it wasn't all just a weird fever dream.
I remember seeing Alpha Team at Toto's in Schaumburg back in high school. Memories :)

I think I remember hearing this on WNUR at 1AM or something back when I was in high school. Amusing change to the usual music listened to while grinding through math homework. Then somewhere along the line I managed to get it on a tape mix. Brings back some memories of the mid 1990's.
I didn't know there was a "dirty version". It does make sense doing such a version. I remember as a 6 year old watching Speed Racer, I couldn't understand why Trixie was behaving "so strange" when she was near him. 🤣

we were in gym class and back then, we had to run a few laps around the gym and the teacher had a boombox (its a portable stereo tape player [cassette tapes are what we used to use to listen to music]). So before we started; a student asked to play a song from their mix tape.
Gym teacher plays the song and its all good...until the moaning and sex sounds blast thru the gym speakers and everyone starts laughing up a storm while the gym teacher runs full sprint to stop the tape.

I remember the first time I heard this was at a Tucson strip club in the 1990s. Thought the mix was so creative and sexy, but a little corruptive of my childhood.
I thought the dirty part was just going to be something subtle like a quiet f-bomb, but I was wrong.
