Amazing, just amazing work! This felt like those meditative movies that let the Art do the talking and im all for it! Felt like a mini documentary. Blessings! And thanks always staying unique!
Taylor I just wanted to say thank you for always making these videos! I really love the mix of chill and more methodical videos that you do and they inspire me to do more and make my own too. I really love what you do and I hope you keep sharing these moments with us! 🫶
I watch you wander through the area, shooting what you see, and really.... I just cannot do that. I have so many pictures that my kids will just throw away in a couple of years (maybe) that I feel stymied. at 74 I have shot so much of what happened to be in front of me, I have a hard time burning through a roll. It took three months to complete a roll through my Minolta srt 101. I do not know when I started the roll in the Nikon F-100 (I think it was early August) . Oh well. Good video you've made... maybe that is part of my problem. I get to watch you go out and shoot, I get a "fix" by enjoying your clicks, and just think I'll go some other day.
My favorite type of photography videos to watch before I go to sleep It made me calm and relaxed Well the night shots are very inspiring and totally cinematic Loved how you captured those night shots in Vegas I do wish to do analog photography but it’s becoming very expensive to do this here in Germany and that’s why i am using my Fuji cameras the Xpro.1 & XE.1 to get some how the analog vibe I know that nothing can beat analog photography because it’s just pure organic experience so I hope that in the upcoming future I might try to do some analog photography…
16:30 I love that part of old Vegas. I shot many rolls of film on this street years ago on a Leica M3. Glad to see that mart still there. That entire side street is nice to photograph.
Creating photographs and a long short-film at the same time - amazing! The time lapse out of your car on the street with lights flying by was very cool!
Terrific photography you've done here. How I miss photographing exposures at night like 11:35, 12:12, 13:05, 13:39 and 14:46. Perhaps trying some three to five second exposures at night.
Your video is very welcome this morning. It fell below freezing Thanksgiving night and isn't supposed to rise above freezing until late next week, maybe. My little dog is in a shirt huddled underneath a blanket and she's staring accusing at me. "You have the fancy opposable thumbs, human -- do something!" Thanks for the sunshine and mild temperatures!
one of the things i appreciate most about your videos is the lack of commentary and just letting the photos speak for themselves. and yours speak volumes.
Always interesting following your work. I bought my Nikon F3 in 1985 and I loved the beautiful HP-finder! I switched to the F100 which I switched ...etc. In these days I have the full mechanical Nikon FM2N as my film camera. Kind regards from Sweden
Just got some lens heaters and -20 degree battery pack, now to find some decent winter places to photograph. I'm up in MN, so ain't much here. I think when you live in a pace for so long it just all seems so boring, that's why I did the road trip this summer. Had to do something, I had fun.
Loved this video. Genuine question, did you shoot this alone. It's a cinematic masterpiece. Also did you go out and shoot alone? I'm asking because I'm genuinely afaid to sometimes, not because of safety because I think people will think I'm weird being out alone taking photos of things. Either way thank you for this video, it gave me a lot to think about.
I don't think the act of shooting pictures is weird, it's the act of taking a video of one self that might look strange. Especially if you're talking to the camera.
i do make my videos all alone! it’s weird sometimes but i don’t mind all that much. i remind myself i am DOING MY THING and no one will stop me from that ❤️🔥
Confession: I’m commenting after watching 01:52 into this video. Firstly I almost closed this before it got going thanks to the putrid greyed out KEH ad. I don’t object to the ad and I’m a customer. Whatever that visual effect is, pull the lever and flush. Also firstly, I’m happy I didn’t swipe this away. The opening video sequence quickly removed the disdain I experienced resulting from the KEH opening. I’m on the East coast and I don’t think we have the giant Chinese white cardboard takeaway boxes for lifeguard stations here. Hopefully this description brings a smile to you. It certainly did to me when I saw it. This made me laugh and compelled me to comment after not even 02:00 into the video. Now it’s time to finish watching.
Cinestill 800 is the only good cinestill stock out there. The rest is just ewwww. It’s like a stock that fails to understand white balance. Please destroy me in the comments…
lol your film shifts magenta and cool in sunlight. 81 series filter and green cc would fix that. Your night pictures shift green and cool. An 81 series filter and some magenta CC would fix that. But who knows? Maybe your thing is washed out color! When your color temperature in the scene is outside the color temperature range of the film you get crap color. You would really benefit from using a color meter.
@ lol. Yes. That’s why I said. Who knows? Maybe your thing is washed out color! But, honestly, that’s what I hear most from people who don’t know how to actually tune and control color film.
Just a wonderful experience to watch this. Thanks for what you're doing!
Amazing, just amazing work! This felt like those meditative movies that let the Art do the talking and im all for it! Felt like a mini documentary. Blessings! And thanks always staying unique!
Your videos are pure art in the middle of this caos. Keep going ❤️✊🏾
this made me cry. thank you 😭
The couple on the bench! So sweet. That frame tells a whole story.
😭❤️🔥
love the vibe of the images. this is exactly why we love film photography! thanks for sharing and keep it up!

Such a good video. I keep coming back to it.
Beautiful, atmospheric, vivid, subtle, moody, what a great video❤
Creating photographs and a long short-film at the same time - amazing! The time lapse out of your car on the street with lights flying by was very cool!

So nice to be on the beach just chilling
Great video and shots! I specially love the Vegas shots on 800T. Being stuck in the cold and snow here in Denver these kind of videos are therapeutic!
I do SO like your videos. Almost as much as I love your photographs. Quite remarkable! 💕
Wonderful neon shots, lovely memories of LV, thanks for sharing.
Love the shots, especially the night shots with the neon signs .
Terrific photography you've done here. How I miss photographing exposures at night like 11:35, 12:12, 13:05, 13:39 and 14:46. Perhaps trying some three to five second exposures at night.

this comment will stay stained in my brain. thank you x 1 million
@15:00 I'm looking at all that going, "Got that. Don't got that. Got that one. I think i don't have that one?"
Very nice! Dig that viewfinder

Beautiful video, as usual. Tnahk you!
What film was this, and was it pushed? Thanks. 😀
Well done! Enjoyed that, just like being there. Waist level finder and one lens mostly (I think?). Thanks!
yes! just a 50mm
Always has the vibes right..

No commentary…no context… just your images, cinematography, and creativity…. You need to chill! Great work!
Great cinematography.
do you usually shoot these throughout a single day or is it a several consecutive days type of filming process? just curious :)
depends! this was 3 separate days :)
Absolute Class
LOVE
@18:03 That's a cool shot with your hair lit up against the skyline.

Really like the lifeguard tower shot, among many others. Care to share filmstock used for that one?
Family Food Mart one is a banger!
the first few shots were to finish off a roll of Fujifilm 400!
What brand is your bag?
ona!
nice work! Thank you)

Serene or Lonely, I can’t decide.

This feels like 1977.

Bruh!
05:26 constructive criticism, you need to learn how to waste less film when loading! wow. I’d say that was 2 maybe 3 frames wasted right there.
shot 36 whole frames :) no frames wasted
@ I can squeeze 38-39 sometimes 40. 36 is not the total frames in a roll.
This wasnt quiet :(
Please bring back the videos without the music
will do :)
