Pastor Paul, My Husband & I [again] have started studying the Old Testament; and in return, the Good Lord gave your videos to us. We feel so blessed to have been given the gift of your teachings. We prayed and asked God to please help us to better understand His Word, and on that very same day, we found your videos! God is so faithful! We love Him so much! Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, & The Holy Spirit are our [Three in One] mighty, kind and loving Godhead! Christ Jesus gives us such large portions of His tender mercies every day! May your messages and teachings continue to conflict our hearts and mind, and glorify God always and forever. Thank you Pastor Paul. Jesus loves You. ♡
Thank you Pastor Paul!!!!! I look forward to your teachings daily. You explain every chapter so well. You always leave me looking forward to learning more about gods word.
Oh my Lord. This is so good. How often we drop words about someone - words that do harm. Forgive us , Lord. We so often sucvumb to xternals and outward profiling. Following without discernment. Open our spiritual eyes , Oh God. Help us to see within.
I'm enjoying my Bible study! Thank you Pastor Paul for the explanations, details, your knowledge and advice. My dream is to go to a Bible College and start teaching the word of God and praying for people. Pray for me...
Thank you for this. I read this today in the Bible and to be honest the chapters confused me because so much happened in such a short period of time (pages wise). I fully understand now.
“Ahitophel is also mentioned in 2 Samuel 23:34, and he is said to be the father of Eliam. Since 2 Samuel 11:3 notes that Eliam is the father of Bathsheba, some scholars suggest that the Ahitophel of 2 Samuel 15 may in fact be Bathsheba's grandfather.” I heard this in another sermon: Ahitophel probably thought this was his chance to get back at David for killing Uriah. 🤔
I’d love to hear a sermon from you on a breakdown of each chapter individually. Thank you for sharing. God bless ✝️. Blessed to study from home 💜. God is good. All the praises to God.
I struggle with some of these chapters. It seems like everyone failed Tamar, no one pleads her cause or considers her future. Shouldn't Absalom be hailed for avenging his sister's honor? At times God has used evil men in exacting justice or right a wrong.
I have to say I understand him defending his sister's honour . So much of the bible I find myself battling with because I have a lot to learn ,I Myself am a work in progress. I see the both sins on the same level maybe because I'm a woman and can't imagine being raped by my brother .
Dunno if anyone will ever see this but did Absalom murder his brother? Wasn't he suppose to die for what he did to Tamar anyways so isnt what he did justice that David refused to do? Wheres the line of justice for her vs murder drawn here?
I wonder if David carried the guilt of what God told him as it relates to his sin with Bethshiba and didnt want to punish his childern because he had brought this upon himself and family. I think he was a good parent IMO because he looked passed what they did and left it in the hands of God by not taking action. Sometimes silence is true wisdom's best reply.
I don't agree. At least Amnon and Absalom (when he killed) should have been put in prison for what they did. The rebellion of Absalom could have happen anyway, I think Tamar should have suffered for it

Sounds familiar. Our past His story repeats itself🙏
Anyone know the name of this Pastor?

Hello. You can message Pastor Paul directly here: ccontario.com/pastor-paul
5/14/21 Bible studies Coker Creek TN.
My Bible says 40 years in 15: 7 and he said 4 years I'm confused.
My study says that in Hebrew it's 40, but wouldn't align with the chronology of the events, so the majority of the Bibles say 4 years
As individuals and a nation, we have invited in evil. But, also fail as David and Absalom did to see what we have done by choice.
I wonder if David carried the guilt of what God told him as it relates to his sin with Bethshiba and didnt want to punish his childern because he had brought this upon himself and family. The character of Absolom is that of a classic psychopath. He has no conscience whatsoever. He cares only about himself.
Everything said about Absalom applies to Trump.
Lol no
