I just ordered this today! Can't wait. The Marvel G.I. Joe comic series along with Marvel Star Wars comics were my gateway into the world of comic books during the early 1980s. Those animated TV ads for the G.I. Joe comics were incredible

Why won’t Hasbro themselves finance a project like this?

Well Hasbro themselves don't have expertise in creating, printing and distributing comics, which is why they license their property out. That being said, these will be in stores in other formats eventually, which is sort of the equivalent of Hasbro making them, at least as close as you can get. But the version that will be in stores, won't be quite as prestige, they will likely be softcover and won't have a lot of the extras the stretch goals are allowing for.

Do we know the size of these books (omnibus, conventional TPB, etc.) and how they are bound, i.e., glued, sewn, etc.? I really want to back this but I am worried they may fall apart with so many issues in each volume.

Omnibi, Can't say for sure, I will see if I can find out, but I think sewn. The invincible omnibus was about the same size and it is sewn

@@jace-thecomicsource561 Do you now if the reprint is from Master files, will be a new recoloring or the same image files Images and IDW used before?

@@Destron1001il Master files from Hasbro where available. Skybound tried to use the best version of the files that they could, even when it meant reaching out to other places to get the best versions of the files they could. This was the case with the Order of Battle. Also they have been re-colored for this project. Again the goal is to be the definitive edition for this content so quality is the priority.
