Bro i just installed Galaxy note 9 ported rom on My galaxy note8 that is one ui 2.5 android 10 and it become way way faster, even competes with my iphone 11 pro
Tne Note 9 is faster by second or less but if you're a heavy user, it'll amount to a nice chunck of minutes at the end o the day!! I loved my 8 but love my 9 even more!!!

I think the note 8 is maybe 100$ cheaper at best, also, in-app performance is a mile better on note 9, also, speed tests like this rely more on Input and Output speeds rather than raw SoC performance and that's why a note 9 can be quite close to a note 20 or s21 ultra in terms of speed but in real life scenarios a note 20 or s21 ultra are much better
