I'm one of those people. I don't have the Note 9, but I have the Galaxy S9+. Still works well. Still has the essentials I still use and want: physical scanner, headphone jack, micro SD slot. Notification led. No notch.
I absolutely loved that phone. Still my favorite Note, and I've had them since the 5 and all the ultras. Landed on s23 U and I'll ride with it for a few years but man, was that Note 9 nice.
Most complete phone ever released. Just a month or two ago, replaced my Note 9 as my work phone. An S22Ultra now does it's task. But man, the Note 9 did me well for 5-6yrs. Still works great, if you have some patience. The battery is still original as well. I can almost get a full day out of it lol. Great phone.
tbh its all depends on how the phone land curve or not. Im probably lucky enough that thou I don't use screen protector but a case on my S10+, and half of the time the landing was at the edge or the back, other time it lands on the face but glass didn't shattered.
I know a few people who are still actively using 2019 phones. There is a market to use old phones longer. The OEMs won't do it, but OEM certified hardware repair companies should aggressively advertise battery replacements for folks' old phones.
Finally someone who gets it. I swear some people are just so willfully dumb, ignorant and obtuse on purpose it is no wonder samsung skimps out of certain things because most of their user base is willing to accept mediocrity.
I was a proud owner of the Note 9 for nearly 4 years (2019 - 2023) and man even right before I upgraded, it was still absolutely superb for daily use. Definitely the most reliable phone I've used so far!
The last truly competitive note phone Samsung made before going down that Apple rabbit hole. This phone had absolutely no compromises. Sd card expansion, headphone jack, all of the accessories, etc. If this phone was still receiving updates it'd be my go to. Samsung must have realized this so they only introduced 7 years of support on their new phones.
Though Note9 doesn't have 7 years of support or so, still it can do things newer iPhones even Samsung can't do! Headphone jack, SD slot, 3d home button, iris scanner and many more.
SD cards are too slow to transfer stuff. Get a USB c thumb drive way faster than SD and still can back up on local storage if you don't like cloud storage.

Still using my Note 9 as my main phone. I mostly love it. I've been getting into photography and video stuff and I really like the 4k @ 60 fps videos on the Note 9. I don't like the 5 minute limit. And they really should do a bug fix update on the camera app. If you record video and try to record another video it will crash so you must exit out clear cache and reopen the camera app to start your next video. I was concerned a while back because the repair centers didn't have any more Note 9 batteries and it didn't look like they would get any more...although some online sites probably still have them. Battery life was trash. What I did however was put almost every app into deep sleep mode and sleep mode. Bam, battery is like new again. When my Note 9 dies, if they don't make a very near identical replacement then there will be zero reason to stick with samsung. Given the R-Y-U-T-A prices, and how all the phones are so similar offering nothing I like, like headphone jacks, sd card slots, etc. Then I might as well be brand agnostic going forward.
Exactly how I feel. What Samsung to replace my two eldest note9, my note10+, my wife’s S9, my other sons S9. There is literally nothing worth the price. I am looking at moto stylus 5g line. All downgrade chips though. So worthless right now in the industry.
Micro SD is slow and outdated. If you need local backup storage, get a USB c thumb drive it has way faster transfer speeds. The headphone jack is pretty much dead on most phones. You are holding on to outdated devices. Isn't going to change anything for these manufacturers. Time to upgrade your device is a security nightmare. Pretty much any modem device that isn't a budget phone will absolutely destroy the note 9 in the most important pillars of a smartphone. battery life, camera quality, processing power. Display quality with high refresh rate.
I miss my Note9 so much I got it in around March 2023,loved it,even put a one ui 5 rom on mine,it ran like butter, best phone I ever used,I currently have a S21 Fe and ofc it is better, but man the Note9 just felt different and special,I miss the S-Pen so much
While it’s not my daily driver anymore (I’m on the iPhone now) I still have my blue note 9 that I use at home. It’s still a great device. Probably my favorite Android device that I owned right behind the note 7 and the HTC EVO. (My first smartphone)
What you're talking about should be what the FE series should become. Could you imagine if Samsung did this? It probably never is going to happen, but let's say this. Instead of S25 FE, they rebrand it just as the FE (2025 edition) and it's basically a repackaged and upgraded Note 9. Slightly bigger battery (4,300mAH) to keep it smaller. Give it newer cameras: drop the ultra wide for a 12MP or 50MP telephoto with optical 3x zoom and hybrid 5x zoom, and a main 12MP or 50MP or even bring back the 64MP. Put in a slightly older, but newer chip like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Something that prioritizes battery life. Keep the headphone jack, Iris scanner, and the rear physical fingerprint scanner. Keep the heart reader too. Keep the S-Pen with Bluetooth features. Could make the screen flat with a LTPO display and give the frame and back a matte texture while providing a variety of colors like the S20 FE lineup did. Samsung would make bank on that. It's easy money. This definitely won't happen but it would be cool if it did.
They sorta used to do this with the Neo series, lightly scaled back versions of last year's phone with an extra year of updates, the S3, Note 3 and S5 all got Neo versions
Dang, I miss that phone. That was when Samsung was actually innovated. All those extra features are gone now lol. The Note 9 is the LG V60, a beloved device
M watchin on my Note 9 using it as my secondary phone, bought Fold 6 and its awesome too🎉Absolutely Loved Note 9 that's why still keeping it,still works gr8 ❤
The Note 9 is for me amongst the top 3 of all phones, and yes I've still got it. I do every now and then put my SIM 3 or 4 in it👍. When I got it there was only one thing that I missed, and that was a wide angle lens. Other than that....perfect!
I am still rocking this phone and it's still one of the best. I wish all it's parts were available to make it run even longer. And the way I tweaked it, it feels like a magic. I love this phone
This is legitimate eco friendly approach i can highly relate to. Got my Xperia Sola for 5 years, then XZ for nearly 6 years, and I hope that my current S23 will last even more. There is no point to change smartphone every couple of years IMO.
Still using my Note 9, it's my main phone. And it runs every apps I need, despite being on Android 10. Android keep up so much better when it comes to apps on older firmwares, I am already quite limited on my iPad Air 2 with iPadOS 15 (3 years old firmware)
Heapdohne jack? sdcard slot? What is this technology, i have ner heard of these features. Could you explain it? its amazing how smartphone compnies can offer such features in such a small device while having ip rating
Honestly, just like anything in life, there are enthusiasts who absolutely love having the latest and greatest tech and absolutely must upgrade every year or even more than that. I fall into that camp. I realize that there are people who only care about the basic necessities and things such as micro lag or having the best of the best isn't really the most important, it's just having the basic functionality of a phone that works. I'm a little jealous, I wish that I just didn't care as much as I do
I just bought this one as a new daily driver. Had S3 / M30 before. So far, my favourite phone ever. I needed this pack of features no other phone can offer, and I've got them. Upgraded to magsafe and made it a gaming console with coolers/controllers.
I watched this video because of my buddy at work. I'm using the s24 ultra right now because my carrier finances and allows frequent upgrades. I enjoy the latest and greatest most of the time but would settle for say the s22 ultra. But my buddy at work is rocking the note 9 right now and he loves it. This guy makes the same as me, but also owns rental units and makes 3x on the side. Our job just gives him health insurance. But I asked why doesn't he upgrade with his financial stability and just have better stuff and he said because his phone still works flawlessly. I'm sure his battery life sucks but the phone is always in a case. Mint condition. Sigh...I guess if it works it works.
Still love the note 10❤. But I also love that it's not getting the newer software, it stays the same..., that's what I like. So for me personally extra software updates would make it worse for this phone. Tired of to many changes. Nice video 😘🙏!
I'm the same. I was trying for over a year to find a Note 9 with the original Android oreo 8.1. I've order three devices all updated to Android 10. On my fourth one I was lucky. I love how on Android 8.1 the camera app have record and capture photo on the same panel. But yes apps start to drop support for a such old version. My banking apps still work but not for long probably.
@@ro4lol is more stable, properly optimised for note 9. On Android 10 you can feel the system is heavier and not as smooth. Another big one is call recording. On the Samsung Note 9 with android 10 I managed to change CSC to Thailand to keep the call recording. Also the newer the android the more restrictive has become, probably Android 16 will be as bad as IOS more secure but also locked. I know for average user is a good thing but for power user will be annoying.
@@Dadniel1st great write-up thanks. I agree and have heard about the csc call recording issue. I like android 10 and oneui 2.5 especially dark mode tho probably less battery life. My S9+ works great very bad battery but love it main phone. My two eldest are on latest updates on note9 and I have an extra one I might use since my note10+ sadly got green line issue after ″security update″ that lagged and fried the display. No more updates for any of my samsung devices ever again I use adb to turn them all off. Good for you I like your style
Thanks Steve as always for the great content. Not many covering the Note 9!these days. But this was a great phone. I loved my S9 Plus and the Note 9. I fully agree and am sure that you put your sim in it and be just fine.
Absolutely valid point also longer support will give phone more resell value. And ppl can in 4 5 years still get pixel 8 or 9 that’s still be supported for a while for ridiculous cheap and won’t feel outdated yet. That’s why iPhones sell for so much still even so they are old. Software support plays a big reason in that.
I bought mine on November 2018, and it's still going strong. I love my Note 9. I wish Samsung would have continued support - yes, support (7 years) is important.
I remember really wanting a note 9 back in the day, but I ended up getting the note 10 plus. Both devices are really good in general and I still use my note 10 plus to watch RUclips videos/browse marketplace/pictures and an iphone 11 for everything else. I'll probably continue using the combo i have for the foreseeable future tbh.
Funny that was exactly my combo. iPhone 11 and Note10plus till it green lined a few days ago. Not sure what to do now. Got a note9 backup I got refurb a year ago. Half the storage tho. Losing my note10plus is really bad. They want $420 for oem screen replacement in canada
@@hillsongbest3818camera doesn't really hold up, got a pixel 8 pro in comparison and from my upgrade, pictures tend to be blurrier on the s10e. Probably better off grabbing a used flagship or midrange/flagships that are discounted
Good video and I was never a note fan as it was too big but I still have my Galaxy S9 and it's a great little phone I put my SIM in it recently just to check it and yeah it's slower then my s24 but it's got an SD card support and it's got a headphone jack and it's got the fingerprint scanner on the back which works 100% of the time ,all the time ,every time and I really like curved screen and how well the S9 fits in your hand and it's only 5.8 screen which would be so nice if somebody would make a phone this screen size again. And so the phone is only running on Android 10 and so if this thing still got support it would be the killer phone.
I traded in my Note 9 last year for an s23 ultra, and I kind of wish I hadn't. I like the ultra but I miss that note 9. it was a great phone. It needed a screen and a battery and I got caught up with wanting "new". I agree with you here.
Watching this on my note 9, its the most reliable phone I've had. I also have an iphone 13 and it keeps up with it fine, plan to upgrade to the 16 pro max
My father was still using one of these until the end of 2023 until I bought him his first iPhone. I still see him use it as a wifi only device since the muscle memory is still there for him on Android. Solid phone.
I've had the S23 Ultra, time is flying and we're almost to the S25. I have no plans on upgrading until either Samsung makes something absolutely amazing in hardware, or the Andriod updates and security updates stop. I've always wanted the phone, now I want to just keep it as long as I can, I have insurance through my carrier, so when a screen or battery needs replacing, I'm just doing that, instead of upgrading. Phones aren't evolving anymore. 😒 What's the point?
Same. This phone is absolutely amazing and future proof. For that reason I got bigger storage as well and have everything I would want for it to have. The battery is just as great, constant updates, great camera, beautiful screen, S pen, Snapdragon. Now my phone supports UHQ (24bit / 96kHz) audio for my Buds 3 Pro. Everything works super fast and now I don't see any point in switching for many more years. Now phones don't really change much year by year compared to how it was a decade ago.
OnePlus doesn't exist in this country. But I completely agree with you about Motorola. I had a couple of phone from them and I switched to Samsung because Motorola doesn't support their devices for more than a year or so Phones may not be a luxury anymore. But they're still expensive tech and if my phone can stay at my side for many years then I will completely keep it I love my S23 Ultra, got it used the past year, I'm aware it has 4 years of Android updates and even more years of security ones. So I'll change the battery in a couple of years and continue to enjoy it
I bought a refurbished note 9 to replace my iPhone 13 Pro because I missed all the features that my s7 edge had. It would be nice if Samsung made something like this today, but with an updated processor.
I've been a note user since the Note 3. I was devastated when there was no Note 30 or whatever (2 year upgrade cycle). Because of that, I switched to the Fold3 (they probably did that on purpose). 6 months later, the S22 Ultra w/ S pen came out. I was, again, devastated because I was locked in for 3 years. I'm happy with my S24 Ultra. Just wish the S pen was on the right side.
Still using the Note9! The best Samsung to date. Got the Note20Ultra and S22Ultra, but gave it away and went back to the Note9. I proud still to keeping it. Let see if the Note25 will change me minds. Pos: 1. Location of the Fingerprint 2. Location of the Speaker Neg: 1. Curve Display 2 no Software update
Pre-owned Note 9 user only since late 2022 (previously Note 4 since late 2019). Must agree that in terms of form, design etc. it does feel more complete than many subsequent models, such as the 2020 Note 10 Lite which loses USB 3.1, stereo speakers, LED indicator and more, despite having retained 3.5mm phone hack and mSD storage expandability which most current "flagship" models lack. So unless Samsuck reshuffles senior management and revisits older smartphone designs, legacy compatibilities etc., no more flagship models for me and instead looking into mid-range ones...... The other thing about Samsuck messing up the phone support scenario is that they should've let S9/S9+/Note9 officially update to OS11, instead of letting them stuck on OS10......
I have a US model of the S10e and I love it but was wondering about if you don't update then you are at risk of vulnerabilities? I am looking at the pixel 8a to upgrade.
I still have my Note 9, I love it. It is superb. I use an S22 daily but really wish i could use my Note 9 as my daily phone but can't really because of the lack of security updates and software updates. It is a shame, it is a lovely device.
The other good thing about 7 years is you can buy a phone that's three or 4 years old and still get a whole decent life out of it. You could buy like a pixel 8 2 years from now for a couple hundred bucks and it'll last you another 3 or 4 years easily. It keeps it out of landfills most importantly. or maybe you want to give the phone away to your kid or a friend a couple years after you have it. It's better than a landfill
And here I am, using my launch day Note 9, nothing changed yet * battery / Screen * and using an IEM with 500+ FLAC files for my offline music library, and finally, updated to Android 14 via custom rom.
Note 8 and note 9 were peak Samsung, actual no compromises phone. I still have my note 8, the battery is shit but the screen still looks really good, and performance is perfectly usable for normal phone tasks.
I really loved my note 9 still my favorite even though i have the S24 ultra now and still have an S20 FE 256gb snapdragon with a 1tb card in there. Ended up giving my nephew my note 9 to game on.
In the last 2 years I spent 1500 on four second hand Note 9. I kept two for me, two I gave to my children. I managed to find 512gb storage 8GB ram. One that I use now is on Android 8.1. Everything is working perfectly. I have debloated a lot of the apps so it runs smoothly. The only thing I wish for is longer battery life. I plan to keep staying on Note 9 for another 5 years. I have ordered new spare batteries, charging ports and microphones if needed replacement. Samsung please give us a S26 Ultra with headphone Jack, iris-scanner, and sd card.
Note 9 best phone ever, keep mine as a spare phone or use it with my drone as a screen, best phone ever made and was lucky enough to get the top spec one. Never getting rid of it.
Indeed the Note 9 is still a great phone! You made excellent points on the upgrade and support cycles! Companies need to cater more to the consumers again and less on their bottom line! "Give the people what they want!!!"

I am still on my Note 8. Unfortunately the keyboard is freezing more and more often, and screen goes all green from time to time. 7 year in service seem to be the reasonable limit for this device.
I regret trading in my note9. In 2022, it started to bug out a lot with the notification panel every time I would put it from max power saving to normal. I traded it in for my S22, although I appreciate the size and no s pen, I still miss the headphone jack.
Just replaced my note 9 with the s24+, but I still use note 9 as a secondary phone along with my s10. Would still use it regularly if not for the battery and slow down
I feel like Samsung would do exceedingly well if they were to launch a Galaxy Note9 FE, where it's a Note 9 with updated processors, the latest Android, and the extended support. MAYBE they could give it better cameras; that might not be entirely necessary, though. MAYBE they could put an IR blaster, like they had in older Samsung phones, but I don't know if enough people miss that feature. I upgraded from my Note9 to the Note20 Ultra last summer. It's a great phone, but I miss the better biometrics. The face recognition is nowhere near as good or secure as Intelligent Scan on the Note9 was. I had the Note9 from 2020 until last year, and it was so much easier to open the 9 than the 20 in the Chicago winter. I didn't have to remove my gloves for the fingerprint scanner, but I'd just lift my glasses for the iris scanner, and I was in. Now, I have to completely uncover my face, and if that fails, the gloves come off. As you mentioned in the video, the notification LED is something I miss. In spoite of all of my Bluetooth headphones, I miss my headphone jack. I tend to buy headphones that can connect both wired and wirelessly, but now I'm SOL if my headphone battery dies while I'm out and about. I just really don't like how when Apple copies Android phones, they get something great, but when Android phones copy Apple, we lose things. First, the headphone jack, then the charging adapter, then the expandable memory... The SIM card slot is probably next...
I once traded the note 9 that came with 128gb with 6gb of ram, i traded it for the S22 Ultra Phantom Black at Verizon and been using it for 2 years from now, wont regret from that direct upgrade from the note 9 to the s22 ultra
I understand why they can't do Android updates on this phone but there's no reason why they couldn't still do security patches. And lack of security patches would be the only reason why you shouldn't use this phone as a daily driver.
Samsung has so many models that range for budget to flagship it a miracle they are able to support as many device as do. From a business perspective, it doesn't make sense to invest resources and into a device very few people use and the outdated hardware also doesn't help.
My ex and I separated and I had this phone on his contract. Had to give it up and switch quickly, and got the S10e for free . I missed this phone, had a nice Dbrand skin on it and I used the SPen so much due to my job

Had this phone as a backup the 512gb version and finally it started running hot and screen wouldn't turn on Aug. 2024. Tmobile warranty wanted to give me a regular note 10 256gb as a replacement had to wait almost wait a month for them to get me a 512gb note 20 ultra 5g. There not reason these phones couldn't get android 14 and AI features.

Ypure absolutely right ive seen the s ultra phones, no way youre telling me they cant make room for a 3.5mm jack on those things, they just dont want to. Apple needed to remove it for thr haptic engine, samsung and others removed it for no appearant reason
I was speaking to my brother just today about this. I said this is one reason i command Apple for they support their phone long after Samsung stopped. My girlfriend has an she has an Apple 8 plus. She has IOS 16. I think there is a high possibility she has IOS 17. Its unfortunate she cant get IOS 18 on as the phone would no longer get updates for a phone that came out in 2017, is very great. I recently bought a S10+ Cardinal Red running on Android 12 OneUI 4.1. I cant get no more updates on this phone whether big or small. Samsung lost alot of points from me for that. I know the say the 24 Ultra with have 7 major Andriode updates, but i hop they stick to there word. Because when i have the money to buy a 24 Ultra i would love to see the changes with my own eyes. I could never be able to afford any of Samsung devices brand new the time they came out, the only device they I had that saw got an update was my Note 2 from Jelly Bean to Kitkat.

I miss my Note9 so much
I got it in around March 2023,loved it,even put a one ui 5 rom on mine,it ran like butter, best phone I ever used,I currently have a S21 Fe and ofc it is better, but man the Note9 just felt different and special,I miss the S-Pen so much
While it’s not my daily driver anymore (I’m on the iPhone now) I still have my blue note 9 that I use at home.
It’s still a great device. Probably my favorite Android device that I owned right behind the note 7 and the HTC EVO. (My first smartphone)
As I will never own any crApple product again, my S9 will labor on.
I am still using note 9 since 2018 with second display. Still running well, with 512gb sd card. 3.5mm jack😂. Best phone.
Given how old it is, it still handles multitasking quite well as if it was brand new. It was the reason I 'm stll using it.
Note 9 is the best Note and contrary to popular belief, it actually has a stunning design especially in that blue colour
That would be amazing 😻 I was saying the same thing for the S10 & note 10 loved those also.
Amazing
They sorta used to do this with the Neo series, lightly scaled back versions of last year's phone with an extra year of updates, the S3, Note 3 and S5 all got Neo versions
Yessss
Dang, I miss that phone. That was when Samsung was actually innovated. All those extra features are gone now lol. The Note 9 is the LG V60, a beloved device
M watchin on my Note 9 using it as my secondary phone, bought Fold 6 and its awesome too🎉Absolutely Loved Note 9 that's why still keeping it,still works gr8 ❤
I still have my Note 9. I just bought a used Note 20 ultra & expanded storage so I have 1T. I don't trade in my phones.
The Note 9 is for me amongst the top 3 of all phones, and yes I've still got it.
I do every now and then put my SIM 3 or 4 in it👍.
When I got it there was only one thing that I missed, and that was a wide angle lens.
Other than that....perfect!
I loved my Note 8.
That fingerprint sensor position drove me nuts.
@@StevealiciousTech neither the 8 or 9 were ideal.
A security nightmare, no security patches for a long time. Wouldn't do any banking or anything personalt sensitive on an outdated device.
@@green9227 I don't, I use a credit card, like old people lol
the note 9 had to be my favorite phone, I loved it, I had a note 20 ultra after then an s22 ultra but the note 9 was just ahead of it's time
Heapdohne jack? sdcard slot?
Great phone. Dudes who know, know
This is probably my all time favorite samsung phone, i just switched from this in june wish i could have kept it longer. It had eveything
Keep your apps up to date & your good. Great video!
Still love the note 10❤. But I also love that it's not getting the newer software, it stays the same..., that's what I like. So for me personally extra software updates would make it worse for this phone. Tired of to many changes. Nice video 😘🙏!
Yep I don’t need UI changes
I'm the same. I was trying for over a year to find a Note 9 with the original Android oreo 8.1. I've order three devices all updated to Android 10. On my fourth one I was lucky. I love how on Android 8.1 the camera app have record and capture photo on the same panel. But yes apps start to drop support for a such old version. My banking apps still work but not for long probably.
@@Dadniel1st what else is good about android 8.1 ?
I had an S9 for a while. Loved it.
My Note 9 was in the same condition when i sold it as when i bought it, a decision i still regret. Loved that phone!
Agree 100%. The XS Max was released a couple of weeks later and it just received the newest iOS 18.
Throttled by crapple
I had this phone, and my sister did as soon as she seen i had it i however moved on from the phone but she still had that phone still running today
l 'm still using my s10e and I love it
How the camera capabilities ? Photos still clear and comparable to phones in 2024 ?
@@hillsongbest3818camera doesn't really hold up, got a pixel 8 pro in comparison and from my upgrade, pictures tend to be blurrier on the s10e. Probably better off grabbing a used flagship or midrange/flagships that are discounted
I 100% agree with you. I still love my Note 9. It was Samsung's most complete Note
S9 finger print scanner the whole 9 series ones are amazing. Instant on. Every time.
I traded in my Note 9 last year for an s23 ultra, and I kind of wish I hadn't. I like the ultra but I miss that note 9. it was a great phone. It needed a screen and a battery and I got caught up with wanting "new". I agree with you here.
Mine's still works and serving me well!
I'm on a note 10+ and my mom is still rocking the note 5.
Got to have the latest and greatest cellaur connectivity. That why I upgrade every year.
Spoiler alert: the Exynos 9810 variant of the Note9 DOES RUN android 14 with Galaxy AI stuff from S24U unofficially
How stable it is?
OnePlus doesn't exist in this country. But I completely agree with you about Motorola. I had a couple of phone from them and I switched to Samsung because Motorola doesn't support their devices for more than a year or so
Phones may not be a luxury anymore. But they're still expensive tech and if my phone can stay at my side for many years then I will completely keep it
I love my S23 Ultra, got it used the past year, I'm aware it has 4 years of Android updates and even more years of security ones.

Bought a Note 8 a week before the Note 9 came out. I still feel like a dummy doing it.
I still love my Note 8 and Galax S8 plus ... 😎
I use my Note9 as a second phone (S22U as main) using lite versions of app and it works great. I wish Samsung would update OneUI at least.
And here I am, using my launch day Note 9, nothing changed yet * battery / Screen * and using an IEM with 500+ FLAC files for my offline music library, and finally, updated to Android 14 via custom rom.
I still have my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G phone.
Right now.
1 of my favorite cell phones from Samsung was the galaxy Note 10 +5G
Never getting rid of it.
still have my Note 9 alongside my Pixel...tbh i like the note 9 better
I have a S9+ and I am not looking forward to replacing it anytime soon. It is a great device 7 years later.
Indeed the Note 9 is still a great phone! You made excellent points on the upgrade and support cycles! Companies need to cater more to the consumers again and less on their bottom line! "Give the people what they want!!!"
I read this article. It was done very well. Great video Steve.
Thanks!
Me 😂
Still using the note 9, (2nd time buying it again after the 1st one is beling sold) Headphone jack and memory card expension is really a help for me, because i do video edits on my note 9, and play DeadBy Daylight Mobile on it.😂
I’m gonna move to note9 to do video edits. Same thing. Was using note10plus then it green lined two days ago. I need stylus for video editing precision!!!!
USB c thumb drive has faster transfer speeds than slow SD cards.
@@green9227latest Sony Xperia phones are support micro sd express format, that is as fast as an SSD. And still have flagship quality headphone jack.

Im still a Note 9 user.
U can use it with a custom rom
True but most people aren't going to and a custom rom will not fix hardware limitations.
I bought two Galaxy Note 9s, I don't see any anroid phone that can replace it soon... Its great 👍
still use them both snapdragon and exynos variant i just replaced the battery i primarily used mostly for call and music no social networks whatsoever i have s21 ultra and s23 ultra as a back up phone but man i love the Note9 and gonna buy them more if one of my note9 is broken maybe custom rom would help these phone get a new os i guess , By the way i am from Thailand and many people still using these phone it got all thing i need, sd card dual sim and headphone jack too
Btw the support by the phone maker are matter less nowadays, because everything what connect the internet are updated by the play services/WebView/play protect, so even outdated rom can be usable.
The note 10+ was the goat for me, thats when their displays and camera startrd to just be amazing.
This was my last android phone because of their update policy, I really love it, still inside a drawer, amazing device...
Absolutely!
..custom ROM?
Just replaced my note 9 with the s24+, but I still use note 9 as a secondary phone along with my s10. Would still use it regularly if not for the battery and slow down
I absolutely miss the Iris Scan and the LED Notification Light. Currently I'm using a Z Fold 6.
I still have mine, love this phone! Copper metallic exynos version (because they were rootable and snapdragons werent). I still mist out here and there and use it , definitely couldn't daily it though.
That was a cool color variant!
@@StevealiciousTech they got close again on the mote 20 ultra with mystic bronze !
As long as my iPhone 13 Pro still does what’s it’s supposed to do imma hold onto it. Idk how anyone could be against long term support.
The phone that i wished for the longest time and i didn't own it because at that time ever since it camer out, my family couldn't afford expensive phones due to were using budget and cheap android phonnes at that time until were using high end/high budget android phones and my dad is currently using an S23 ultra now
Ypure absolutely right ive seen the s ultra phones, no way youre telling me they cant make room for a 3.5mm jack on those things, they just dont want to.
I still have it 😅
I traded mine in 3 weeks ago for a pixel 9 pro xl 😢 still use it for dex as a local media player when i was out town. And it was in pristine conditions. i was one of the last great phones for sure. And resurrected my pixel 4 with a new battery to use it for 6 hours from time to time lol ( battery is still terrible)
