The RX 7900 GRE is misspelt as RTX 7900 GRE in the Benchmark Window. Apologies for that. Also, for just $50 more the RX 7900 GRE does seem to be a better card than the RX 7800 XT. Also I think something is wrong with the Performance of RX 7900 GRE in The Last of Us Part 1, I tested it 3 times and got the results which is weird.

Thanks. I was surprised at how well 7800xt performed, actually. Several times it was BETTER, most of times it was even or down on slow margin, and several times lower. Personally- can't see why 7900 would be better if its more expensive, hotter and draws more power --- all that for no meaningful FPS advantage. Thinking about picking one, and this clip kinda skewed me to 7800xt, actually...
There performance is quite tied, aside from possible 1% and 0.1% low testing's. Generally if 100 euro is a definite savings for you, then yes you made the right choice.

Ordered the 7800XT today, because price difference was 100 eur and I don't plan to OC. Did I make the right choice?

You will probably regret it for a few titles but overall it's still good
