    This was probably the last thing I learned in my 5th year taking Spanish and it was hard to get down. But it really should be taught because it is used SO OFTEN.
    This was very easy to learn and pick back up. Thank you!

    There an easy way to learn the subjunctive, when there a change in subject ,I want to go to the shop, no change in subject no subjunctive , I want you to go to the shop change in subject, that's much easier to remember, that's it in a nut shell ,when u get that the rest is easier 😊

    At 11:52 where you put "Si ella tenga tiempo, irá al cine" why would you use tenga there when it should be tienes ??? Plz clarify

    • @SpeakSpanishFaster
      @SpeakSpanishFaster  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the question, good catch. It should actually "Si ella tuviera tiempo, iría al cine." Which would be the subjunctive in the imperfect form. That's my mistake. I probably didn't want to get too complex with this. But you could also use the indicative for this sentence if it's a fact that she is coming if she has time.

    ¡Muchas gracias! Lo único que no entiendo es qué es ¨impersonal speech¨? Quiero que lo expliques un poquito más en profundidad. Por suerte hay una caso perecida en Aleman, pero eso se utiliza sólo en los periódicos cuando citan a alguien, o cuando queremos ser sarcásticos y realmente no creemos nada de lo que se ha dicho.

      It’s introducing a subjunctive clause so it has to be included. In English we can leave out “that” but it’s necessary in Spanish.

      Se pueden usar los dos verbos pero tienes que poner el ‘que’ en medio: quiero que enseñe, quiero que aprenda, etc.

    Chico metistes la pata. Where you write, Si ella tenga tiempo, ira al cine. What desire or belief are you expressing? NONE. The way to write that sentence correctly is: Si ella tiene tiempo, ira al cine. Please rewrite that sentence to express a desire or belief (if that is indeed your lesson.) Eso no tiene nada que ver con la leccion. Check your work
